Information for authors

The journal Acta Oeconomica Pragensia publishes papers from different areas of applied economic research, scientific notices, information from conferences and scientific meetings and reviews of interesting publications.

It is assumed that the paper submitted for publication has not been submitted elsewhere and will not be submitted to any other publisher without the AOP publisher's consent.

A condition for the publication of a paper in the journal is a licence agreement signed by the author.

The contents of papers are evaluated by two independent reviewers at least and discussed by the Executive Board of the journal; the author(s) will be informed about the result in written. If the paper is not accepted, the editorial office may keep the hard copy. The legal claim to the publication of a contribution is not enforceable.

The maximum size of articles, review studies and consultations is 25 standard-format pages, i.e. 45 000 characters (including spaces), of the other texts six standard-format pages, i.e. 10 800 characters (including spaces). The title should not exceed 100 characters (including spaces).

The contributions are submitted in the Czech, Slovak or English language in one hard copy and in the identical electronic form in doc format (e-mail: novakma@vse.cz).

Paginate the text of the paper, please. Write the footnotes on the bottom edge of the page and number them consecutively. Number the figures and graphs and include them in the text. References should consist of the first element of the cited document (usually the author's surname) and the year of its publication; if a citation is given, indicate also the page.

The author should include at the end of the manuscript:

• a list of references according to the Czech standard in alphabetical order; an example is given here (in Czech);
• in the English language: title of the contribution, abstract (articles ca. 150 words, other types of contributions max. 300 characters), keywords (3-6), JEL classification: www.aeaweb.org/journal/jel_class_system.html.

On a separate sheet the author submits to the editorial office his/her full name with academic titles, exact name and address of the institution, phone number and e-mail address.

Galley proofs should be sent back within seven days while it is not admissible to make such amendments that would influence the length of the text including footnotes.
