Institute for Crisis Management

The Institute for Crisis Management (IKM) serves a dual purpose, notable to teach and to undertake research in the area of crisis management. By crisis situations we mean natural, technical, technological, economic situations and social policies which have an impact on the problems occurring in the sphere of business economics, economic policies, public administration, regional policies, state material and financial reserves, the reliability and security of information systems, insurance systems and other subjects.

The mission of the Institute is founded on its statute and regards its practical application in: the organization and implementation of short-term and long-term courses as part of the lifelong education of managers in enterprises and public administration, the organization of specialized seminars and conferences, the solution of research tasks and the practical application of the results, as well as in counselling and offering expertise.
