Corporate Chairs

This project attempts to create an attractive environment for the upcoming generation of university academics, while at the same time boosting the links between the VŠE and cooperating firms. It introduces a specific form of sponsorship for young VŠE academics and Doctoral students who are preparing for an academic career. Every participating firm financially supports the selected candidate - the holder of the Corporate Chair - for a minimum of three years. Corporate Chair holders are bound to help develop relations between the VŠE and the partner company, annually submit to the firm a report on the results of their research and its use in teaching and above all to prepare themselves for their academic career. The project aim is to help the Corporate Chair holders achieve the rank of Senior Lecturer within one year from the project´s completion.
