Trial access to COS Research Support Suite (CIKS)

All VŠE users can until 6th April 2010 exploit a trial access to COS Research Suite - a unique collection of databases and services focused on support of science, research and development. COS Research Suite consists of following resources:

• COS Funding Opportunities - an up-to-date database of announcements for grants, fellowships, awards and more from around the world, comprising more than 25,000 records worth over $33 billion.
• COS Scholar Universe - a searchable, editorially controlled database of nearly 2 million published scholars in a variety of disciplines.
• PapersInvited - an exhaustive list of Calls for Papers issued by professional bodies, journal editors and other conference organizers in all disciplines. It is a destination where conference organizers, journal publishers, researchers and academicians come together to issue and receive information resources that encourage presentation and publication of contemporary research.

Within the scope of the trial it is also accessible a web site COS : Resources for Research, Worldwide (http://www.cos.com/), where can users make use of follwing resources and services:

• COS Funding Opportunities - an up-to-date database of announcements for grants, fellowships, awards and more from around the world, comprising more than 25,000 records worth over $33 billion.
• COS Funding Alert - a weekly e-mail notification with a customized list of funding opportunities based on specified criteria provided by the individual COS member.
• COS Expertise - a richly featured knowledge management system for individuals and institutions, containing more than 480,000 first-person profiles of researchers from over 1,600 institutions worldwide.
