| Abstrakt: | V bakalářské práci se zabývám biometrií a biometrickými systémy a možností použití těchto systémů v podniku. Cílem práce je analýza a popis vybraných typů biometrických metod a určení jejich výhod nebo nedostatků. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části. První část je teoretická, popisuje základní biometrické pojmy, kritéria biometrické identifikace, používané identifikační systémy, oblasti využití biometrických systémů, měření výkonnosti biometrických zařízení a vybrané biometrické metody. Tyto metody jsou snímání otisků prstů, geometrie ruky, oční duhovka, oční sítnice a snímání tváře. Druhá část práce je praktická, popisuje implementaci biometrického bezpečnostně-docházkového systému do podniku. V této části testuji podle stanovených vah, kategorií a kritérií jednotlivé biometrické systémy za účelem nasazení v podniku. Dále jsou zvažovány náklady na biometrický systém a výnosy z jeho nasazení a jsou popsány faktory, které s implementací souvisí. |

| Abstrakt: | The thesis deals with biometrics and biometric systems and the possibility to use these systems in the enterprise. Aim of this study is an analysis and description of selected types of biometric identification methods and their advantages and shortcomings. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, describes the basic concepts of biometrics, biometric identification criteria, currently used identification systems, the ways of biometric systems use, performance measurements of selected biometric devices and biometric methods. These methods include fingerprints, hand geometry, iris, retina and facial scanning. The second part is practical and describes the implementation of security-biometric attendance system in an enterprise. In this section I test, based on selected measures and criteria, the biometric systems for the use in an enterprise. The cost of the biometric system implementation, as well as the process of its deployment, factors related to implementation and the benefits of the system are also described. |
