Kognitivní aspekty „user experience“ a webového designu

This master's thesis focuses on user experience and web design. Its aim is to mainly discover the impact of websites to a human, what he expects from it, in what manner does he research information and to find the best methods to lay out the web design so that it would be the best option for the end user.The aim is to familiarise the reader with this topic, to deliver basic information about the UX, web design and recommended steps during a creation of websites. It also aims to execute an experiment, which should come with a result between to tested websites to find which one of those is better equipped regarding the user interface. Theoretical part at first examines the human brain. It goes after its composition and how and where does it store information. The thesis then continues in examining the human eye, its composition and mainly the method called "eye-tracking", which means tracking the movement of an eye. This process could help the website creators with laying out different elements on the actual web. The thesis then examines individual elements (e.g. colour, texture, fonts, content, etc.) and calculates to which extent does it influence the human brain. After the creation of a website, it is imperative to undergo different types of tests. Examples of those tests are mentioned in the last chapter of this thesis. Practical part focuses on specific websites and tests them according the different criteria mentioned in the theoretical part. It evaluates if the websites are well designed, what elements could be found there and where, and how does it affect the human. At the end there are results of this experiment as well as the general summary.
