Implementace cloudového Business Intelligence řešení v nástroji MS Azure a PowerBI

This master thesis deals with cloud computing and the possibilities of its use in Business Intelligence. The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a cloud-based solution of a simplified concept of data warehouse using Microsoft Azure technology and to create basic reporting solution in Power BI service.The first part of the thesis analyzes the basic components of the Business Intelligence solution used in the On-Premise environment. With utilization of the available information resources, the concept of cloud computing is further analyzed. Critical factors influencing the successful deployment of Business Intelligence into the cloud environment and factors critical to Business Intelligence solution migration from On-Premise to cloud environments are discussed.Another part of the thesis deals with the implementation of cloud-based Business Intelli-gence data warehouse solution using Microsoft Azure technologies. Data are transformed and loaded to Azure SQL Database with use of Data Factory. Date are loaded from three source areas. This includes work statements, accounting and customer data.In the final part of the thesis three basic reports are created with use of Power BI service. Subsequently, the data quality is checked to ensure the accuracy of the displayed data on the final reports.
