Návrh procesu Configuration Managementu pro státní oblastní archivy

The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the Configuration Management process based on the ITIL methodological framework for state regional archives. The theoretical part introduces the basic principles of IT management in the organization, mainly the definition of basic concepts, methodologies, frameworks, and standards for IT management. Furthermore, the ITIL library is presented here as well, with focus on the individual versions, the publications and key processes within them. Certifications and possibilities of using ITIL in state administration are also mentioned here. An introduction to archiving in the Czech Republic makes up the end of the theoretical part, i.e. the organizational structure of archives, basic activities, and the role of IT within archives.The practical part of this work deals with the design of the Configuration Management process for the purposes of state regional archives. The introduction presents a draft IT service catalogue, which summarizes all the IT services provided by the state regional archive. The Configuration Management design itself then contains all the key parts needed for the effective operation of the process and proposes the procedure for implementing and verifying the feasibility of the design.
