| Abstrakt: | Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o whistleblowingu a ochraně oznamovatelů v českém právním prostředí a dalších vybraných státech. Cílem předkládané práce je seznámit čtenáře s pojmy whistleblowing a whistleblower, s jejich zakotvením na národní i mezinárodní úrovni, a zejména zhodnotit Směrnici Evropského parlamentu a Rady EU o ochraně osob, které oznamují porušení práva Unie, a zmapovat její dopady na právní řády vybraných států a na konkrétní oblasti bankovnictví a sektoru státní služby. Práce je rozdělena do šesti kapitol. První kapitola definuje pojmy whistleblowing a whistleblower. Druhá kapitola vymezuje zakotvení whistleblowingu na mezinárodní úrovni. Třetí kapitola se věnuje samotné Směrnici Evropského parlamentu a Rady EU o ochraně osob, které oznamují porušení práva Unie. Čtvrtá a pátá kapitola se zabývají právními předpisy na ochranu oznamovatelů na Slovensku a ve Velké Británii. A nakonec šestá kapitola vyhodnocuje zmíněnou směrnici. |

| Abstrakt: | The submitted diploma thesis deals with the topic of whistleblowing and whistleblower protection in the Czech legal environment and other selected countries. The aim of this thesis is to acquaint readers with the concepts of whistleblowing and whistleblower, with their definition at the national and international level, and especially to evaluate the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of whistleblowers and to map its effects on specific areas of banking and the civil service sector. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter defines the terms whistleblowing and whistleblower. The second chapter deals with the delimination of whistleblowing at the international level. The third chapter deals with the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on the protection of persons who report violations of Union law. The fourth and fifth chapters deal with legislation for the protection of whistleblowers in Slovakia and the United Kingdom. Finally, the sixth chapter evaluates the directive. |
