Bachelor thesis is focused on the founding process of the project on emerging job search website. The theoretical part contains terms relative to the founding of the project, for which purpose the founding project is compiled, for whom it is drawn, which should have a structure and what should be its content. It is defined by the term e-commerce, its characteristics and specifics. Practical part is a founding project of the newly emerging internet portal offering job opportunities for students and fresh graduates. Work demonstrates a rational process of thinking about setting up an internet business, considering the feasibility and viability, summarizes the specifics of e-commerce, marketing research process, analyzing competition, market and demand for the product. The work is designed in a way to create a successful web business and functional organization.

Diplomová práce se zabývá vymezením vzájemných vztahů mezi bankovním a nemovitostním trhem a následným popisem způsobů, jakými se tyto dva trhy ovlivňují -- tedy jaké dopady má vývoj jednoho trhu na druhý. Práce je rozdělena na tři části, přičemž první část se zabývá charakteristikou těchto dvou zmíněných trhů a vymezením jejich vazeb. Další část práce se věnuje už podrobně popisu situace, kdy trh nemovitostí ovlivňuje bankovní sektor, k čemuž dochází prostřednictvím zástavního práva. Ve třetí kapitole je naopak popsán vztah, ve kterém působí bankovní trh na trh nemovitostí, a to jak na straně poptávky, tak na straně nabídky prostřednictvím poskytování speciálních úvěrů určených k výstavbě či koupi nemovitosti. Jedná se především o hypoteční a developerský úvěr.

Subject of my thesis is a credit risk in the czech banking environment. It consists of five chapters. First one contains description of basic risks banks are exposed to. The next one addresses the credit risk itself and its management, including determination of credit policy and the process of credit granting. Related to this topic is hedging, in broader sense also including provisioning and reserves creation. Third chapter is about credit derivatives, via which the credit risk can be reduced. Closely related to this topic is a securitisation process and it's products. Fourth chapter deals with regulation, which is an essential part of the banking sector nowadays. I focus primarily on Basel II and its credit risk part. In the final chapter I describe credit risk management of one of the biggest czech banks, Ceska sporitelna, which granted most credits in 2010.

It takes into account the historical context, position in Generali PPF Holding and rating. The new strategy of Ceska pojistovna and some innovations in the insurance products are described. The analysis is performed on indicators such as premium written and market share, as well as profit and different ratios of the financial statements. At the end, it tries to estimate the future development.

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate a local strategic document called "The Development Programme of Vodňany Town" ("Program rozvoje městě Vodňany") as a possible instrument for the strategic support of a local business in town Vodňany. The issue is examined primarily from the perspective of the local entrepreneurs and their intrinsic needs. The first part includes the basic theoretical background of the issue and definitions of the key concepts of this thesis, namely -- entrepreneurship, entrepreneur, business environment, business support and strategic planning. The theoretical part is followed by a characterization of the town of Vodňany and a basic description of "The Development Programme of Vodňany Town", in particular topics which are related with the support of entrepreneurship. The main part of the practical is a result of a probing survey of local entrepreneurs. The aim of this survey was to ascertain the views of the local entrepreneurs to local entrepreneurship support and the town development plan of Vodňany -- "The Development Programme of Vodňany Town". "The Development Programme of Vodňany Town" can be regarded as a good base for the support of a local business and for the strategic development of the local business environment. However, it contains a number of insufficiencies, which can substantially prevent the implementation of various measures to promote entrepreneurship in practice, and thereby reduce its real contribution. Examples of these insufficiencies are eg. absence of a concrete financial plan, the absence of criteria for evaluating projects, ignoring important factors which affect the business environment and lack of communication between the town and business entities. Materials for processing this thesis were obtained from literature, the available statistical data, survey and structured interviews.

The topic of this thesis is providing of public goods and services throw the method of Public-Private partnership (PPP). The thesis is focused on basic principles of PPP, its advantages and the critics the PPP is exposed. The thesis also analyses the relation between corruption (measured by Corruption Perception Index CPI) and the extent of use of PPP (measured by ratio of total value of projects in the country x for year y, divided by general government expenditure: gross capital formation in the country x for year y). The purpose of the analysis is to find out if there is any positive correlation between the above mentioned quantities and what effect this relation has on evaluation of PPP method.

This thesis deals with the topic of migration. In the theoretical level the work defines the term migration, further it discusses its reasons, forms, types and consequences. The aim of the work is to assess the situation, which could arise in the future as a direct consequence of migration. The work further also brings information about the current situation and migration development in the Czech Republic, it also informs what kind of migration policy was chosen by the Czech Government and discusses the topic of national minorities living in our country. Selected goal of the work is processed in a third part, which discuss economic, social and demographic aspect of migration.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the real impact of realized projects within OP HRE in unemployment in South Bohemia region in 2007 - 2013. For objective evaluation are analyzed finished projects (to 30th of November 2011). Projects realized in the area of Support 2.1 - Reinforcement of Active Employment Policies. These projects are focused on unemployment policy enforcement by requalification and investment stimules. The sources used are mainly final reports from the finished projects, applications for financial support from OP HRE and interviews with project leaders. Monitoring indicators from each separate projects wereused for evaluation. The cost of the return of one unemployed back to the labor marketwascalculated using the indicator of total project costs and real outputs of the project. The thesis also points out to the lack of effectivity of realized projects and other linking problems.

This thesis aims to capture the notion of "Financial iliteracy" as a phenomenon of the present in the context of the Czech Republic, or of the region with the highest unemployment and specific problems - the Most region. The introductory part defines basic concepts connected with financial iliteracy, its education support in the Czech Republic and the measurement possibilities. The next part concentrates on the Most region, on the concrete examples of financial iliteracy support on this location and it is followed by a survey. The conclusion will look at the evaluation of results gained by the survey and recommendations for financial iliteracy support optimization.

The thesis is focused on an issue of attainable beauty ideal and its possible negative consequences mainly on adolescent audience. It also deals with the possible ethical questions that are related to the beauty ideal with the young audience. This narrow part of the poulation was selected because of the the fact, that they are the at the biggest risk. The theoretical part describes the related experiments and also shows some examples of different approach to beauty in marketing communication. The practical part of the theses consists of two parts, questionnaire survey and an in-depth interview with the specialists in the psychology and marketing. The conclusion of the work indicates, that young people are aware of the relationship between the beauty ideal and the negative consequences, but, as the rest of the population, do not perceive this phenomenon as an ethical issue.

The thesis focus on detection of motivation and satisfaction of visitors and exhibitors of annual design fair Designblok 2011 in Prague. Its creation proceeded in cooperation with main organizers and the results aimed to be usable in practice while planning and organizing of forthcoming years. One part of it deals with visitor's research executed by personal questioning whose results were analyzed in statistic software IBM SPSS Statistics. Satisfaction and motivation of exhibitors in another section was detected by means of half-structured interviews. While analyzing all the findings the maximal applicability in real life of Designblok and future usability was emphasized. The conclusion includes summary and review of all the recommendations connected to partial research results.

The thesis deals with the valuation of the AERO Vodochody a.s (OJSC). The estimated value of the company refers to December 15, 2011. Internal value of private equity is determined in addition to the company value. Financial analysis of the company, analysis of the macroeconomic environment and industry analysis are applied in the process of valuation. The yield method of discounted free cash flow to the firm is applied for the company valuation. After delivery of the statement of the enterprise value the attention is focused on the analysis of the major factors that affect the resulting value of the company to December 15, 2011. The effects of individual factors are based on sensitivity analysis. Suggestions resulting in increase of the enterprise value in the future are presented. The enterprise value referred to December 15, 2012 is predicted using the Monte Carlo simulation method. Both the calculated values are compared after discounting the result of the simulation. The comparison result displays whether an increase in the company value is expected or not.

The goal of this Master`s Thesis is to clarify issues and significancy of association bridging between parent brand and its extension. By analysing secondary and primary data and by using free association method I researched five brands (Michelin, Cosmopolitan, Duracell, BIC and Aquila) and their interesting extension. Within the analysis is highlighted the dominance of associations, their internal meaning and connection of associations between the extension and the parent brand. In conclusion, in response to found bottlenecks of researched brands are some recommandations about the internal meaning of associations, hidden meaning of category, artificiality of associations, fake success of extension and minor meaning of a product category.

The goal of the Master's thesis "Economic analysis of company VESPO, s.r.o." is to assess the economic and financial situation of the company VESPO, s.r.o. and charaterize its performance and competitiveness. The Master's thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first part there is a descripton of theoretical basis, methods and processes of economic analysis. Practical part is focused on aplication of methods of economic and financial analysis. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the horizontal and vertical analysis is carried out which is followed by the analysis of ratios and working capital. Further, there is a aplication of bankruptcy and creditability models, calculation of economic value added and intercompany comparison. The final assessment of economic situation of the company is worked out in the conclusion.

This thesis is primarily focused on forthcoming regulatory concept Solvency II, which is valid for all member states of the European Union in insurance industry. In the first part of the work the term solvency is defined and actual mode of its reporting called Solvency I with its basic shortcomings are introduced. The second part describes the forthcoming new concept called Solvency II, its aims, three pillars on which it stands on and also the Lamfalussy Legislative Model according to which it is created. Then the fundamental risks endangering the insurance companies and the timetable of the Solvency II implementation are explained. The analysis of five Quantitative Impact Studies focused on impacts of the Solvency II concept makes the finish of the work.

This diploma thesis discusses the main issues in regards to the topic of body image in marketing, such as its overall description, its negative impacts and the influence it has among the media and advertising. A content analysis was the primary methodology used in this thesis. Furthermore, not only were Czech television commercials analysed, but also Australian ones. The work also discusses the fundamental media indicators which help to form a better understanding of the television market. The results indicate that a normal person will be presented in a television commercial in an attempt to better connect the viewer to the commercial, thus connecting the product or brand to the mass audience. This finding was also backed up by the the results of a media indicators analysis that was conducted for Czech commercials.

Práca je rozdelená na teoretickú a praktickú časť. V teoretickej časti práce sú vymedzené poznatky, ktoré sa k danej problematike viažu, a ktoré sú základným východiskom pre spracovanie analýz v praktickej časti. Praktická časť je zameraná na aplikáciu teoretických poznatkov na konkrétnom prípade podniku Novoplast, ktorý je v súčasnosti výrazne ovplyvnený priebehom a dôsledkami krízy. Záver práce tvorí zhrnutie získaných poznatkov a výstupov čiastkových analýz a vytvorenie prvkov, ktoré by mali byť súčasťou budúcej stratégie spoločnosti.

This thesis deals with a new marketing tool for campaigns to support product sales at the point of sales. Banner can appropriately draw customer's attention and also persuade to unplanned impulsive purchase. It is a plastic pocket that can hold posters to support individual product or brands of companies and also can be changed quite often. Uniqueness of the solution lies in the location of the advertising space. In case an LCD monitor is part of the cash register, the banner is located on the other side directly exposed to the eyes of customers. The aim of the thesis is to present a new marketing tool and ideally prove that the right use of visual communication means is able to encourage impulsive purchases even in the environment of a Czech bank. Even though it was not completely proven that the banner can encourage impulsive purchases in banks, the whole concept has been prepared, it's potential revealed and the possible effective uses for normal practice have been formulated.

The aim of this work is to confirm and verify the national identity of a target group in relation to the consumption of cultural goods referring to the particular example of the National theatre. The results are put into context together with the goal of my investigation and the theoretical bases.

This thesis deals with the fiscal behavior of households within the Czech Republic. The main areas of interest are the appropriate management of personal or family finance and the importance of household budgeting. It shows that the awareness of ones income and expenses are the basis of a financial literacy, which is still at an insufficient level. Such households are thus regarded as a weaker market article, which have to be protected either by means of education, awareness raising or modifying legislation in their favor. Specific elements in the protection of clients are intertwined throughout the work. The thesis also deals with the relationship of Czech households to consumption, savings and debt. It records the specific period of changing attitudes to the way we deal with money and establishes that households that are no longer thrifty, consume more and loans become a common part of life for them. The thesis also concentrates on the most used financial products, specifying the reason for their popularity. Also, the consequences of poor household management are described and international comparisons are included as well.

This thesis deals with different methods of funding of fixed assets. The main aim of the study is to provide a general overview of the given types of funding and their comparison, either from a qualitative or a quantitative perspective. The application section focuses on linking the general section with a real-life situation, for a better illustration of the overall problem and to determine which of these types of funding is most advantageous for the analyzed company (Diakonie Broumov). Emphasis is placed primarily on factors influencing investment decisions in acquisition of vehicles. To compare effectiveness of various methods of funding the method of discounted costs is used.

The bankruptcy is examined insufficiently in spite of the fact of its significancy. The aim of this diploma thesis was to define the bankruptcy, examine the economic possibilities of its settlement, analyse causes and consequences of the bankruptcy and find prevention and treatment. The thesis distinguishes bankruptcy of private subject and sovereign bankruptcy. The paradox of the monetary system is shown as primary cause of both private and state bankruptcy. Debt fiat money is created throughout credit expansion which generates malinvestments (Austrian economic theory of monetary cycles) and causes bankruptcies. On the other hand, financial system is based on necessity of permanent harmful issuance of credit fiat money which is issued by commercial banks (not by central banks). Furthermore, diploma thesis uses the criteria of Moody's rating agency as appropriate approximation of secondary causes of sovereign bankruptcy. The next part evaluates the impacts of bankruptcy (sovereign and private) on global financial markets and monetary unions. Credit freeze, run on banks, panics and collapse of the financial system are shown as the most substancial consequences of bankruptcy. In globalized world, the state bankruptcy is not isolated event. Financial institutions in other countries can be possible holders of devaluated (government) bonds. This study evaluates the impact of the bankruptcy on the monetary union. Currency devaluation is a common instrument of facing the consequences of bankruptcy which is not applicable in case of membership in monetary union. So, the bankruptcy of one member affects entire monetary union. In the next step, the study aims to examine topic of institucional solution of sovereign bankruptcy. Thesis uses private bankruptcy law (specifically Czech Insolvency Act) to formulate the possibilities of state bankruptcy settlement. Bankruptcy (In Czech: Konkurz), Reorganization (In Czech: Reorganizace), Debt clearance (In Czech: Oddlužení), Restructuring (In Czech: Restrukturalizace) and Fusion-acquisition (In Czech: Akvizice a fúze) are analyzed as options of sovereign bankruptcy solution. The instances of some threaten European countries are analyzed in the last part of thesis.

The theme of my work is " The adjustment of claims in life insurance". In the theoretical part I focus on the characteristics of adjustment of claims, legislation, claims adjuster and the importance of adjustment of claims. In the second part I describe life insurance and its position in the insurance business in the Czech Republic. In the last part I engage adjustment of claims process in life insurance in Allianz insurance company. At the end of this part I describe specific examples of adjustment of claims. These examples show, that the claims adjusters meet the diferent situations, which need an individual approach.

Under BeBe Brumík, which is in its category a strong growing brand, an innovation BeBe Brumík Breakfast focusing with its positioning on new consumption occasion was launched in 2011. The target of my work is to verify setting and perception of BeBe Brumík Breakfast's positioning after few months after launch and to give recommendations for product support and positioning in the future. The theoretical part is devoted to strategic and tactical brand management and applied marketing research. The practical part is devoted to the context in which the innovation was launched i.e. category, consumer and brand. I introduce the new product, its positioning and marketing mix. And in my own qualitative research I verify perception of positioning and setting of the marketing mix, which is also followed by my recommendations for further marketing support in 2012.

The thesis focuses on environmental liability insurance as a representative of various methods of financial guarantee with respect to the environmental damage risk. The environmental risk is explained in the context of the theory of insurance and the specific features of this risk, which may lead to a discussion about insurability of environmental damage risk, are pointed out. The thesis is also aimed at the legal rules in the Czech republic, because there is a close relationship between the environmental insurance and existing legal rules. Last but not least, the thesis also provides an overview of the environmental insurance products available in the Czech republic.

This thesis analyzes the factors that affect the prosperity of SMEs. In the practical part, these methods are applied to a purely manufacturing company KRC SRO & CO, k.s., which has a relatively short history, but great potential. The company is part of a multinational group of companies whose business is the production of electrical components and specialization is production cemented and enamelled resistors. The objective of this work is to analyze the company according to these criterias and make a list of recommendations and possible strategies to improve the current situation.

The goal of this thesis is to create a suitable market entry strategy for an innovative product called LifeTable (interactive touchpad designated for restaurants and bars), so that the company will be able to establish itself in the Czech market and install 200 pieces of LifeTable during the next year. In order to approach the topic correctly, the review of available theoretical literature was carried out. Based on the theory, a thorough secondary and primary research has been conducted. The findings of the research were subsequently used for description of the Czech market, analysis of main competitors and marketing analysis (SWOT and Porter's five forces). Finally, an appropriate strategy including recommended segmentation, targeting and positioning was set up and a suitable communication mix was created.

This diploma thesis represents an effort to contribute to the solving of the problem of optimal relations between the institutional environment, entrepreneurial activity and innovative activity in terms of securing a higher degree of competitiveness of the current economy in the Czech Republic. The institutional environment is perceived as the rules of the game, under which social interactions take place. When defining the business activity the Schumpeter's theory of creative destruction is not ignored and the issue of innovation activity is viewed from the perspective of institutional change. Various forms of institutional environment are analyzed in the selected European countries (Germany, Finland, Switzerland), whose competitiveness is based on successful innovation activities. The research is extended by the comparison of innovation policies and the analysis of the level of ICT infrastructure of the above mentioned countries. The significance of the institutional framework for innovation activities is evaluated in the final part of the thesis. The content of the corrective measures in the current economic policy of Czech Republic is drawn from the evaluation.

The aim of this study is to compare implementation, impact and sustainability of educational projects in small and medium enterprises which are funded by the European Social Fund. The results of the analysis should give us an answer to the question whether the financial support is used effectively and contributes to the fulfilment of its objectives or the potential of these funds remains untapped. The theoretical part deals with the current situation analysis of training and development of employees in SMEs, different methods of measuring the effectiveness of company training as well as the opportunities of training promotion in SMEs with support of the ESF. The practical part is focused on comparing the implementation of educational projects funded by the Operational Programme Prague -- Adaptability and Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment in chosen SMEs. These companies are compared with enterprises that fund their educational programmes with their own resources and with respect to differences resulting from their size measured by number of employees. This comparison enables us to assess the effectiveness of the use of public funds in this area.

In the first chapter is a history of the city of Zlín from its beginning up to the end of the 50's of the 20th century, in particular I focus on the time when the brothers Bata started the business in Zlín. The final issue deals with the introduction of Quality Management Systems in Central Bohemian high schools. The theoretical part describes principles of the Quality Management and more closely presents ISO 9001 standard, EFQM Excellence Model, CAF Model and CQAF Model. The research part determines opinion of school headmasters in Decree No 15/2005 Coll., that specifies requirements for the obligatory self-evaluation of schools. In next chapters through a survey and an analysis of school web pages is examined practice of Quality Management Systems implementation in high schools in Central Bohemia -- current status, awareness of head masters, demand and expectations. The last chapter offers a definite experience with the introduction of Quality Management Systems through additional interviews with school headmasters.

For my thesis I have chosen a topical issue: A comparison of enterprise conditions in the CR and RF, because I have noticed growing cooperation between the Czech Republic and Russian Federation in recent years. The aim of this study is the evaluation and comparison of enterprise conditions for Czech businessmen who would like to enter the Russian market. In my thesis I analyze affecting the Czech businessmen expanding into Russia: Characteristics of the Russian market, trade and economic cooperation, forms of support for Czech businessmen, form of expansion into foreign markets and comparison of legal forms of business. The crucial section of my study is a research among Czech businessman who operate in the Czech and Russian market at the same time, therefore they can objectively compare the conditions in both markets. I came to the conclusion that entering into the Russian market is a lengthy and difficult process. However, after overcoming the initial barriers, a huge market with great potential and many possibilities for further progress is opened for the Czech businessmen.

This Master Thesis deals with the evaluation of the company Správa nemovitostí Olomouc, a. s. as of December 20, 2011.The value of the company was determined based on detail strategic and financial analyses which illuminated the core business and future potential of the company. Results of the analyses and interviews with the management of the company allowed preparing thorough five year financial plan. After the fifth year I have assumed a stable growth. The final value was determined as an average between two income methods, Free Cash Flow to the Firm and Economic Value Added. For comparison I have also prepared a property method valuation using the book value of the company.

Efektívnosť investovania do marketingovej komunikácie je sledovaná z hľadiska povedomia skúmaných bánk, konkrétne recognition, recall a Top Of Mind. Táto práca pozostáva z troch častí. Prvá časť poskytuje teoretický základ a podklady k uskutočneniu analýzy. Zahrňuje ciele komunikácie na bankovom trhu a spôsoby merania týchto cieľov. Druhá časť, analytická, sa zameriava na konkrétny problém a na konkrétne banky, ktoré sú predmetom analýzy. V tejto časti sú vyslovené hypotézy, ktoré sa budem snažiť dokázať a v prípade opačných výsledkov, zdôvodniť prečo moje hypotézy boli chybné. Tretia časť sa zameriava na vyslovenie záverov z analýzy a na poskytnutie informácií vhodných pre investičné rozhodovanie v nasledujúcich obdobiach.

Prvá kapitola charakterizuje jednotlivé druhy platobných systémov podľa rôznych kritérií členenia a pojednáva o rizikách spojených s prevádzkou platobných systémov. Keďže obe sledované krajiny sú členmi Európskej únie, vzťahujú sa na ne v oblasti platobných systémov právne záväzné dokumenty Európskej únie, ktoré popisuje druhá kapitola. Obsahom tretej kapitoly je stručná charakteristika platobných systémov Európskej únie. Načrtnutý je tu i vývoj platobných tokov v európskych platobných systémoch TARGET, TARGET2 a EURO1. Štvrtá kapitola obsahuje komplexnú analýzu českého platobného systému CERTIS a slovenských platobných systémov EURO SIPS a TARGET2-SK z niekoľkých rôznych hľadísk. Dôležitou kapitolou diplomovej práce je piata kapitola, v ktorej sú formou komparácie analyzované jednotlivé platobné systémy, a to z pohľadu počtu účastníkov, počtu spracovaných transakcií a objemu spracovaných transakcií.

History of each of the stock exchanges is briefly mentioned, as well as their fundamental characteristics (including company status, tradability of own shares, market segments, trading hours etc.). The thesis also deals with the specification and comparison of products traded on the money market on the individual stock exchanges. Moreover, there are compared the listing rules for the stocks. The last chapter is focused on the analysis of the exchange data. Stock exchanges are compared in terms of the market capitalization and in terms of the number of listed companies. The analysis of value of trading is also covered. Finally, the stock exchanges are compared with regards to one representative index.

The main objective of this thesis has been to answer the question, whether the cluster policy in the Moravian-Silesian Region is a proper part of the regional innovation policy and whether it is properly targeted within the context of the regional innovation policy. In other words whether there is an impact of cluster policy on research, development and innovation, or vice-versa on the fields that can eventually be considered harmful to the fair competition (e.g. activity of the cluster organisations in the field of joint procurement and enforcing of joint interests); and further whether the cluster policy measures contribute rather to dissolving of innovation barriers caused by lack of contact with the other companies and institutions (e.g. missing cooperation partner, low level of trust, missing technical equipment, missing know-how), or to dissolving innovation barriers which should be targeted by other means of the innovation policy (e.g. problems with financing of the innovation projects). An attempt to answer the questions was made in a survey among the members of the Moravian-Silesian cluster organisations. The results of the survey have confirmed the assumption, that the members of the cluster organisations see the activities in the field of networking and information and research, development and innovation as the most beneficial and that they have experienced the highest improvement in dissolving the following innovation barriers: missing cooperation partner, missing business related know-how and low level of trust. However, after a thorough analysis of the policy system and conduction of several structured interviews with the cluster managers, doubts concerning the impact on the "natural" clusters were stated. Based on these findings the further cluster promotion at the national and regional level proves to be eligible, but further research is necessary to examine, whether the activities of the cluster organisations really promote the "natural" clusters, what impact on the innovativeness and competitiveness they bring and whether the promotion is economically efficient.

This study examines the work of road freight transport driver in relation to the Czech and EU legal norms and standards in Czech Republic in place in 2011. The theoretical part outlines the responsibilities of drivers, especially the motor vehicle documentation, scheduling and planning of the working time on the road, stacking and securing of the freight and, duties and responsibilities during accidents in relation to the above mentioned legal framework. All this is then related to the roadside checks that constitute a commonly used control mechanism. The analytical part consists of a one-company case study; it examines the routines and general duties of the road freight drivers of one Czech freight company using surveys and interviews with the drivers focusing on their knowledge of Czech and EU legal norms. The conclusion then summarizes the results with the aim of shedding light on how the legal norms shape the working condition of Czech professional road freight drivers.

The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part deals with defining the financial analysis and the definition of groups of users, demonstrates the basic techniques and methodological tools and presents three prediction models. In the practical part are theoretically described techniques, methods and models applied to the Eaton Elektrotechnika company. Financial analysis is conducted for the period from 1.5.2006 to 31.12.2010. To increase its explanatory ability the analysis is extended to include a comparison with major competitors and a comparison of selected indicators with middle values for corresponding work fields.

The thesis ,,Preparing and implementation of the evaluation system of employees in an enterprise" follows the question of evaluation of the employees in a specific enterprise -- HC electronics, s.r.o. The aim is to design a more effective evaluation system at the positions of production workers in the company and to define particular steps leading to a successful implementation of the system into practice of the enterprise. The first part of this thesis is focused on theoretical presentation based on scholar literature. The goal of the practical part is to create an outline of the evaluation system of production workers. This outline reflects the requirements of the personnel Department and the results of a satisfaction survey and investigation of the motivation structure of workers. At the end of the thesis there are shown the steps of the implementation of the evaluation system into practice of the enterprise.

The work is devoted to selected accounting transactions in foreign currencies in services. The introductory part defines the term services and their accounting issues. Another section is focused on the Czech legislation in the foreign currency in accounting, followed by selected accounting transactions in foreign currency, related to receivables and liabilities in connection with provide services. In the second half of the work are described specific services, represented by franchising and its financial resources in foreign currency. The whole issue is accompanied by a withholding tax and value added tax in services segment.

The work deals with ethics in the auditing profession and its abuses. On these basics using a deductive method creates a new theory of population as the only real source of innovation potential. This theory is then used for analysis with focus on quantity -- number of inhabitants and quality -- educational structure of inhabitants. It leads to the conclusion, that Czech republic doesn't have enough sources for innovation driven economic growth.

The goal of my bachelor thesis was to confirm or falsify a hypothesis if the flexible mechanisms of Kyoto protocol really can help to improve the natural environment. The theoretical part is focused at the most important documents and legislation connected with the climate change. The practical part is dedicated to recognition of problems and critical moments of Kyoto protocol and outcome analysis of the flexible mechanisms. The study is focused on the emission trading, clean development mechanism their problems and imper-fections. It also contains an analysis of financial potential of the allowance distribution by auction. This analysis is focused on yields of utilized and unutilized derogation. The result of my work is, that the flexible mechanisms can help to improve the condition of natural environment. But such help is not sufficient for any meaningful contribution to fight aga-inst climate change.

Taktiež sú v práci uvedené možnosti reklamy na internete a jednotlivé marketingové stratégie. Tie sú aplikované v marketingovej stratégii na záver práce, ktorá postupuje štandardne: Segmentácia-Targeting-Positioning, Marketingový Mix, Rozpočet a Akčný plán, Monitoring a Vyhodnotenie.

This thesis focuses on answering the question which factors affect a size of a non governmental sector (NGOs) in post-communist countries and how do they influence NGOs. We compare three countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. They are regionally and culturally close but they differ in the political system or in the religion. A regression analysis shows us how values as a size of a state spending influence NGOs. Many authors researched similarities of these three states already but our target is to analyze the mutual influence of development of NGOs, the political system and the religion together.

The goal of the thesis is to characterize specific features of China's foreign policy towards African continent and to analyze whether China is capable of contributing to long-term sustainable development in the poorest region of the world. The first chapter is focused on the theory of economic diplomacy and decribes its main functions, tools and actors. Following part represents a brief overview of the history of sino-african relations, with the aim to define the main motives for mutual cooperation. The characteristic of economic relations between China and Africa follows, with the focus on trade, foreign direct investment and development assistance. Conluding part deals with the identification and evaluation of main benefits and threats of the growing presence of China in Africa with respect to the long-term sustainable development in the region.

First chapter of this thesis describes the formation of EU policy on energy and summarizes the current objectives, which should be followed by the European Union in the field of energy. There are also mentioned the main actors in the European energy market (i.e. markets with electricity and natural gas as the main focus of the thesis). In the second chapter, mergers and takeovers in general and then their control through the EU competition policy is described. Third, i.e. the last chapter is devoted to the possible consequences of mergers and takeovers (especially dominant position and its abuse). The whole chapter and thesis is closed by selected cases of control of mergers and takeovers in the electricity and gas markets.

This thesis examines the regional differentiation of Spain and the regional politics in the context of Spanish economic situation within the EU. The first chapter looks at Spain as an EU member, focusing on its profile from the perspective of economic level and growth. Included comparative analysis of the Spanish economy emphasizes the nominal and real convergence with the Eurozone based on the most influential variables. The second chapter deals with the causes and development of the Spanish regional disparity, highlighting various economic sector specializations of distinct regions, impacting employment and productivity. This chapter also touches the topic of social and information inequality. The third and final chapter is dedicated to structural and cohesive policies of Spain during the past program periods as well as the current financial perspective of 2007-2013, focusing on the tools of the EU providing regional aid. Spain within the process of fund redistribution, existing successful results as well as concrete impact on Andalucia's regional economy are also described.

Zároveň sa práca zaoberá kritickým zhodnotením vybraných nástrojov vnútorného trhu, ktoré zlepšujú podnikateľské prostredie a tým podporujú konkurencieschopnosť európskych podnikov. Vybrané nástroje, ktoré sú v práci hodnotené boli vybraté na základe obsahu opatrení EU vybraných v Akte pre jednotný trh, pričom sa jedná konkrétne o nástroje podporujúce dodatočné financovanie podnikov, nástroje európskeho systému verejných zákaziek a nakoniec regulačné prostredie EU a nástroje znižovania administratívnej záťaže.

This thesis aims to analyze and consequently compare conditions which are currently offered by the Czech Republic and the Philippines to companies in the field of international outsourcing. The first part gives attention to the term outsourcing itself. Above all, it enlightens the extensity of elements, which are influential in decisions of corporations when choosing the country to be outsourced from. The next two consequential chapters are concerned with the application of all aspects of outsourcing in both of these two in many ways different states. The final part evaluates and confronts these countries in light of the described factors as per SWOT analysis. Herewith, it outlines steps which could be taken to improve the present status of matters, which have been ranked among threats, eventually waeknesses.

The aim of this work is to make SWOT analysis of social services in municipality Železný Brod, point out deficiencies in this area, possibilities for improvement or danger of future evolution. Conception of social services has wider sense in this work. Services, which nearly communicate with social services, are included as well. Because of demographic analysis of the region, which is taken over from Medium-term plan of development of social services in The Liberec Region, SWOT analysis has three main target groups of inhabitants -- seniors, unemployment people and families with children at the pre-school age. There is used information from providers of social services as well as from inhabitants of municipality through interviews. The aim of this work is not only aggregate SWOT analysis. Outcome is also to find out, which area of social services could private sector (profit or non-profit) operate in.

The diploma thesis deals with the foreign development cooperation of the Czech Republic. It assesses previous trends of development cooperation analyzing concepts and tools in terms of bilateral assistance or commitments to international organizations. It reviews not only the public sector, but also non-profit organizations and private entities. The aim is to investigate to what extent the economic growth of countries is affected by development assistance and to what by developing countries themselves and if the Czech development aid has fundamentally contributed to the support of democracy, private enterprise, protection of private property and human rights. The part of the thesis is practical application on Serbia, one of the largest recipients of the Czech development cooperation in recent years. In conclusion the thesis evaluates current concepts and introduces solutions and recommendations for further development of the aid, both domestic or global scale.

The thesis is concerned with the stability of the energy market with oil and gas in the European Union. It first characterizes the development of energy policy. The next part specifies two essential types of primary energy -- petroleum and natural gas. This chapter deals with the measurement, mining and also describes the proved world reserves that influence the delivery of these energies into the European Union. The following chapter deals with the stability of the internal market for oil and natural gas. It describes the stability of demand for this kind of energy, the stability of supply and the stability of prices. The final section outlines some of the ways, in which the European Union seeks to enhance the stability. One of the ways is maintaining and deepening relationships with external suppliers and other major energy consumers. Another way to encourage energy stability is to increase the efficiency of energy use, which leads among others to a reduction of the European dependence on supplies and it also lower resource depletion.

This thesis economically analyses the company Výtahy, s.r.o. First there are some pages about the company itself, what it produces, few words about its history and crucial moments and the situation on the market. In the theoretical part the chosen methods of economic analysis are depicted. Practical part focuses on the company Výtahy, s.r.o. The horizontal and vertical analysis of the assets, liabilities and profit and loss account is shown. There is a calcuation of net working capital and its demand. The effectiveness of the company is measured also by a system of logical inequations. Important part is devoted to ratio indexes -- rates of profit, return on sales or assets, solidity of the firm, equity ratio or turnaround period of assets or inventories. The economic value added is counted by two methods -- with the model from Department of industry and trade and with the net operating profit after tax model. I applied several of financial health models to predict and analyse, if the company is doing good or bad. I compared the competing companies among themselves through the last five years based on four criteria. And I used three methods for the final order of the companies. The last comparison is done thru Spider analysis and it shows the economical situation of three Czech elevator companies in last two years.

The paper investigates some issues related to housing and its forms, such as property and rental housing, cooperative housing and illustrates their benefits and drawbacks. The main aim of this paper is a comparison of costliness of property housing in each county of Czech Republic and price availability of flat or rental house for income-average Czech family. Comparison, of all counties is processed according to nominal prices, loading rate housing expenditure and residual income This paper comes out from available data about average newly-built flat and family house dimensions and average price of these areas. There is included an analysis of income tendencies of average inhabitants of those premises in all counties over Czech Republic. The last part of bachelor thesis is dedicated to a comparison of financing housing expenses from mortgages and building savings, including positives and negatives concerning possibilities of housing financing.

Bachelor thesis comes with the interpretation of issues concerned with collective farm Slušovice called an "economic miracle of socialism." The essence of the problem consists in the question of whether collective farm Slušovice was really an "economic miracle socialism" or this "miracle" deliberately created as a proof of good functionality of the socialist system. Based on the information related to agricultural production in the cooperative, associated production, exceptions that were granted to cooperative, visits to be realized there, it was discovered that the cooperative in fact had not the character of an agricultural cooperative and number of exceptions and authorizations which were given, were quite abnormal. In conclusion it can be stated that the initial hypothesis was confirmed and that is the collective farm Slušovice was not an "economic miracle of socialism."

The thesis should provide the appropriate basis for investor and subsequent realization of the project.

This master thesis analyses a labour market at the region Most that has high unemployment rate. After the theoretical basis, the structural analysis of unemployment and its development thesis researches disequilibrium of the labour market both on the side of supply (active employment policy particularly retraining) and demand (the biggest employers in the area). The goal of the thesis is the cost analysis of the efficiency allocated resources into retraining programme particularly into its returns. It is illustrated on model situations and then on the average situation. According to the results it is appraised the truth of the hypothesis that active employment policy is advantageous for state and employers than passive employment policy in the long period. Thesis uses statistic models, comparison, situation analysis and questionnaire.

Presented bachelor essay focused on unemployment in Great Britain in era between world wars and is mainly targets on twentieth years of last century when phenomenon of massive unemployment was discovered. At issue is viewed in the context of creating so called "welfare state" in Great Britain. The main conclusions of the work are that mass unemployment is manifested the most markedly between years 1920-21, then took all the twenties and was created by combining several factors. These include the attitude of society to the unemployed, contact the First World War itself, not only Great Britain but also of world trade and wage rigidity. Finally had an impact on the unemployment, frequent changes of governments and the related sporadic adoption of laws that are devoted to the problem.
