It aims to contribute to a general roadmap for CC, as one strategic management direction and to prevail over the key managerial challenges to achieve it. The goal of the paper is to examine current maturity in adopting CC to scrutinise business process management (BPM) - a key dimension of transformation in the CC roadmap. This paper uses deductive analysis to constitute an analytic theory and structure for evaluation then uses 18 case studies as an evaluation of the analytic theory. Evidence of movement on the customer-centric roadmap is found. BPM in European telecommunications, banking, utility, and retail sectors support the roadmap for CC from the process view, the process alignment and the process optimisation. However, the movement is partial and not flawless, as BPM has not been examined in terms of supporting many of the customer-centric dimensions. Companies have a need for clarity, feedback, and the tools to succeed in an increasingly competitive and demanding world which, in the years to come, may demand a customer-centric approach in order to compete. In parallel, the work theoretically contributes to the importance of the relationship between CC and BPM and provides the first data analysis of its intersection. The Experience of the Czech Republic Abstract: This paper deals with the experience of third pillar reform in the Czech Republic, executed in 2013. The core of our study is formed by a comparative analysis of newly introduced supplementary pension savings and its substitute products (investment funds, life insurance) from two main aspects: product features and distribution features. The outcomes are supported by empirical sales and population penetration of the surveyed products. The results indicate that even a pension product with a very attractive product design, such as supplementary pension savings, will be hampered by its substitutes as long as its distribution features are unattractive. This is an important lesson, particularly for the discussed European solution, the pan-European portable pension product (PEPP). The strategic role of corporate philanthropy has been emphasised by both academics and practitioners and is a topic of long-standing discussion as is the original concept of corporate philanthropy. This article summarises the different definitions, approaches and categorisations that have been adopted by management scholars working in the field of corporate philanthropy and published in the top academic journals. Four main lines of inquiry were distinguished within the literature: the evolution and essence of strategic philanthropy, theoretical foundations of strategic philanthropy, empirical foundations of strategic philanthropy and the measurement of the impact of strategic philanthropy. The results show that the concept of strategic philanthropy is still evolving and different approaches to define and theorise it can be found. The implications for further research are provided at the end of the article. This analysis used the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) to estimate the tourism contribution of European economies. More specifically, this paper examines the variables that encourage tourism performance as defined by the TTCI rankings and the contribution of tourism to GDP. Data presented in the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index report by the World Economic Forum, the World Bank country database, and the World Travel and Tourism Council were used to calculate the TTCI classification and tourism performance variables. The indicators were chosen under the circumstance that they rationally suit the proposed research scheme. The results from the correlation analysis show that GDP growth depends on improved travel and tourism surroundings, higher tourism destination competitiveness, the creation of new business opportunities and the need for government support. The examination also verifies that the economic inequalities between selected countries affected the differences in the tourism competitiveness rankings. Finally, the restraints on the empirical findings are discussed and the research implications for future analyses are recommended. The paper focuses on how government health policy affects health change, economic growth and the dynamics of government debt within a dynamic general equilibrium framework proposed by Zhang. Economic growth, health change and government debt dynamics are interrelated with different preferences and government health policy. After building the general equilibrium model, it is demonstrated that the movement of the economic system is provided by three nonlinear differential equations. We simulate the differential equations and show how the economic system moves from its initial state. A comparative dynamic analysis is conducted in order to examine how changes in some exogenous conditions affect short-run transitory processes and the equilibrium structure.
