Title: Probabilistic Approaches in Investment Decision Making and their Implementation
Abstract: The success of investment projects depends largely on the quality of integration of risks and uncertainty in the process of preparation of these projects, their evaluation and decisions on acceptance or rejection. This article first characterizes the shortcomings of traditional onescenario approach for evaluating projects within investment decision making. The main focus is on probabilistic tools, mainly on scenarios and Monte Carlo simulation. The article characterizes principles of the tools, their common features and differences, examples of usage in the investment decision making. Also covered are strengths and weaknesses of the tools, and application of Monte Carlo simulation in risk analysis of investment projects is illustrated on practical example. In conclusion, the article discusses barriers of implementation of scenarios and Monte Carlo simulation and proposes a set of recommendations increasing the success of integration of these tools into the investment decision making.

Title: Community Programs - Financial Instrument of the European Communities
Abstract: Community programs are a financial instrument of the European Communities. Mechanisms for implementing community programs resulting from general principles of Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 1605/2002 on the Financial Regulation applicable to the general budget of the European Communities and Commission Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2342/2002 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of the Financial Regulation. Community programs may be implemented by centralized management or shared management. In the centralized management of community programs are funded directly from the EU budget. The principle of shared management is the division of powers between the European Commission and EU Member States. The first community program, which is in the Czech Republic based on the principle of shared management for the programming period 2007 to 2013 is common program "Solidarity and Management of Migration Flows". Title: Confrontation of management of nonprofit hospital in the USA (California), GB, in the Czech Republic
Abstract: Nonprofit hospitals and their corporate governance in health care systems of California and Great Britain are shown as an equivalent variant to the legal and economic status of for-profit hospitals. The analysis of legal and economic statuses of nonprofit hospitals in California, Great Britain and the Czech Republic are summarized in Principles of Corporate Governance of Nonprofit Hospitals based on OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. The practice of Czech hospitals financed by public budgets is measured by its compliance with particular Principles.

Abstract: Supporter's trust is a new type of organization which has appeared also in the Czech Republic. The first supporter's trust in the world was founded in 1992. From that time the segment of supporter's trust has developed and this article present its development. But main objective of the article is to present to town and gown what is supporter's trust. It is because supporter's trust can be one of the possibilities how to prevent sport club to go bankrupt. Title: New Cooperation Models For Innovation Activites of Enterprises
Abstract: The article focuses on cooperation of enterprises while performing their innovation activities. Many firms face various obstacles while innovating their product or service portfolio. One way how to remove some of the barriers is to collaborate with another firm. The article covers most common models of joint activities and their main characteristics. The problems some of the firms may have with opening themselves to another partner are also mentioned. The key questions that need to be answered while choosing the right model are also part of the article as well as different funding programmes a firm may use for financing collaborative projects.

Title: Franchise fees in practice
Abstract: The company quite often seek the opportunity to co-operate with the business networks. Especially in times of economic crisis, now under the aegis of a strong group may become the only way the firm's survival. One of the possibilities of cooperation is franchising. The paper focuses on franchise fees applied in the franchising. Franchisee under the franchise contract the franchisor shall pay various types of fees. The paper defines franchise fees, analyzes their situation in Czech franchise concepts. Purpose of this paper is to state the specific franchise chain following the application of fees in the system.

Title: Opportunities and Threats of concentration of retail market
Abstract: Continuing concentration of retail chains with prevailing assortment of fast moving consumer goods is empirically visible tendency present in Europe, overall consolidation of chains on saturated markets in situation of reserved consumer optimism is inavoidable. Such circumstances enable changes including growing buying power of retail chains, on the other hands can start harsh price competition among remaining retailer. Quoted model of monopsony on market of production factor (goods bought for sale by retailer is considered as production factor) depicts effects of explotation of buying power. The other part - using Dobson´s model and other microecomic models of oligopsony illustrates examples of mutual effects differentiation (both of complex product of retailer and supplier), buying (transfer) price, rate of concentration of retail market on selling price and consumer excess.
