Research was conducted in February 2015 and includes 102 filled questionnaires. Questionnaire construction followed the Manual for Research of Job Satisfaction, published by Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs in 2007. Hypotheses were verified by using of T-test and results were reviewed on 95% level of significance. Results show that total satisfaction significantly correlates with satisfaction with workload, flexible worktime, salary, and job security. Results also show that total satisfaction in males and females do not differ. This could be affected by different work positions in males and females. The focus of the article is the obstacles to the adoption of the instrument, namely a lack of financing and information and the difficulty of implementation. The empirical part provides the findings on the current practices of Czech organizations regarding selected obstacles to adopting a standardized system of performance monitoring, specifically the shortage of finance and information and the difficulty of implementation. The analysis of data obtained from a quantitative survey of 331 organizations conducted by the Institut evaluací a sociálních analýz (INESAN) in 2012 shows that 71% of organizations face some of the selected problems. Most organizations report problems with finance (49%), 30% of organizations declared problems with a lack of information and 29% expressed their concerns regarding implementation. These services are especially popular among young consumers born between 1980 and 1996, also known as the Millennials. The goals of this article are to provide a comprehensive overview of the transformation of telecommunication business in the Czech Republic and to capture the habits and preferences of consumers in using OTT services on their mobile devices, as well as their satisfaction level with the current telco services that they possess. Using a survey among 289 young Czech consumers conducted at the beginning of 2016, we provide findings that can be used by telecommunication operators as well as OTT provides to adapt their business strategy to the habits and preferences of their current or potential customers. First, it reviews current approaches to assessing the success of mergers & acquisitions. Next, a method Acquisition Value Analysis, is presented. Acquisition Value Analysis may be used for evaluating the financial results of participating companies in the medium term; it measures the dynamics of profits/ losses reported regarding individual stakeholders: owners, creditors, employees. By applying this method, the mergers & acquisitions realised in the Czech Republic in the period 2007 - 2010 were analysed. Primarily, owners of target companies were those who prospered most whereas other stakeholders - creditors and employees - experienced losses. All interest groups - owners, employees and creditors - were reported as prospering in the medium term, especially those related to the firms that acted as acquirers. This level of development is measured by the data of gross domestic product per inhabitant. The afore-mentioned data was selected on the basis of a hypothesis according to which the GDP per inhabitant in particular captures the ability of a given economic system to create wealth, whilst one of the fundamental prerequisites for such an ability is the general level of enforceability of a contract and therefore also the enforceability of a receivable. Insolvency proceedings as a formally demanding process based on legal specialties (usually an insolvency act) are a suitable representative of the requirement of enforceability of law. The yield for the creditor, then, is understood to be a crucial parameter of the insolvency system, for it is a natural gauge of the result of the enforcement process. Five groups of countries were formed for the purposes of comparison - the most developed European states, post-communist European states already included into the European Union, post-communist European states outside the EU, the most developed economies outside Europe and finally also oil-producing Arab states, where wealth is not necessarily proportional to the quality of enforceability of law. With the aid of regression analysis of the data, the work has proved that the quality of the legal environment measured by the efficiency of insolvency processes is truly related to the general efficiency of the economy. It is thus possible to assert on this foundation that, if we exclude states with exceptional mineral wealth, a high level of enforceability of law too is truly imperative in order to acquire wealth. Questionnaire research is a basis for further research which will be realized in 2016. Theoretical foundations of food quality labels and an overview of quality labels used in the Czech foodstuff market are described in the paper. Sample structure, order of factors most influencing customers´ shopping behaviour, and customers´ opinions on foodstuffs marked with quality labels are presented within research outputs. The CSR Canvas was developed specifically for organizations of this size and is based on results from the empirical research. The Canvas helps to develop and implement new CSR activities as well as measure their impact, doing so it promotes proactive approach to CSR which is crucial for small and medium-sized organization. It was proven by several studies that only proactive approach enables these organizations to gain benefits coming from implementation of CSR. The paper analyzes a case study of a PR agency using the method of qualitative data analysis. The study shows not only the implementation of CSR but also the results and benefits of these activities, which is important for their long term performance. The implications help to promote positive effects of CSR for SMEs, which is a very recent topic and there are only a few studies that work with specific empiric data. This paper contains literature overview connected with aforementioned research topic. The main paper's aim is to describe development tendencies which are divided into three time periods. The development is accented from the point of view of transition economies. The transition economies are represented by Central European countries as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. The effort is to put this development of models predicting financial distress in a broader economic and institutional concept. Untraditionally, it does not discuss models' accuracy, robustness and validity for users. Firstly, shortcomings of strategy implementation and important features, goals and drawbacks of project portfolio management are characterised. Further attention is paid to processes of project portfolio management and their methodical support. Followed by comparison of seven process models of project portfolio management from the perspective of their structuring into phases, agreement, differences and shortcomings. The core of the article is project portfolio development and optimization, where the basic categories of portfolio optimization models are characterised. These categories constitute deterministic optimization models, deterministic equivalents of stochastic optimization models, computer supported heuristic optimization models and stochastic optimization models. Attention is also paid to determination of input variables of these optimization models including values of projects and probability distributions of quantitative evaluation criteria. Conclusion presents benefits and assumptions of successful project portfolio management implementation in practice. The paper presents basic concepts in connection with the private, social and public rates of return to tertiary education and defines needs of the current system through the SWOT analysis. SSCs are usually being defined as competitive efficiency oriented business model, which plays an important role in increase of microeconomic value expressed in decreased costs, improved effectiveness and quality of the business processes. However, SSC can be also defined as economic catalyst, implementation of which leads both to microeconomic to macroeconomic value and multiplication of this value. This increase in value is known as multiplier effect, which occurs in different phases of economic value chain. Causality between different forms of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) such as SSCs and economic growth is usually being expressed by analyzing changes of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, there is number of other macroeconomic indicators, which being affected by SSCs. Number of employed in SSCs is one of the indicators, which leads to wages, income, purchasing power, spending, supply and other multiplier effects. Compliance with the rules of transfer pricing with respect to the arm’s length principle and related administration is a complex activity, that is expensive and time consuming for both companies and for tax administrations. The possibility of establishing a transfer price with the help of clearly defined rules from the tax authorities is therefore a welcome relief to taxpayer’s administration and associated costs. A prerequisite for this condition, however, must be such a definition of safe harbour, that will be of a real benefit to the companies and tax administrations.
