Frankl´s philosophical-anthropological heritage has remained overlooked in his extensive creative work that also includes neurologic, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic and axiological-ethical research. Frankl´s work, however, is imbued with a stand-alone multidimensional concept of the human. In the following article, the latter concept is closely connected with Frankl´s primary professional orientation - health care and efforts to heal the ill - and with one of the pivots of Frankl´s tragic triad - suffering.
