Three of possible methods of quality management in the educational process are described here: Standardization ISO, Model of Excellence EFQM and benchmarking. General approach to evolutionary processes is applied on the development of quality of the educational process and the problem of coordination to cooperation is discussed, because cooperation is the very basis of benchmarking. Ekonomický model versus realita Title: Are economists different? economic model Abstract: One of the key assumptions of neoclassical economics is the existence of the rational individual, who always tries to maximize his or her utility. The paper shows possibilities of experimental evaluation of this hypothesis with respect to the various groups of people who undertake the experiment. Our experiments try to (1) Evaluate real outcomes of model situations, and (2) Find differences between various groups of treated people with respect to our main research question - whether economists behave more selfishly than any other group of people. We employed game theory and its fundamental models - Prisoner's dilemma and Ultimate and Dictator Games. In accordance to previous foreign experiments, we conclude that in real situations people behave in a much less self-interested way than predicted by the economic model. In situations favouring free-riding, people voluntarily contributed to public goods. According to the results of our experiments, the hypothesis that economists are more likely to act for their own self interest cannot be rejected. In both experiments economists behaved in a self interested way, but these results were not prevailing. A dynamic model of the inflation has been developed based on the quantity theory of money. Some theorists say that any rate of inflation other than zero is inherently instable. They say that as people become aware of the fact of continues inflation, however slow, they will anticipate inflation and this anticipation generates inflation. We showed that there exists a model, which helps us to understand that inflation is not necessarily explosive. We follow the ideas of Ph. Cagan. Education and health are not usually analyzed together so this could be considered to be an innovative approach. Article contains knowledge which reflects empirically known dependencies in the area of education and health determinants and relationships of education and health to human capital. It also emphasizes and argues for the importance of lifelong learning and availability of high-quality health care as economic development prerequisites. While the education and health is by its own nature bound to an individual and its investments, the question of equal chances to educate and consume health care is highly important in the modern society. Based on the identified attributes and relationships of education and health, the article shows their economic characteristic, social aspects and summarizes their importance for the economic development. Abstract: This paper examines international relocation determinants of Czech manufacturing companies in order to estimate the probability of potential delocalizations. The research is based on statistical evaluation of "internal keep-factors" (particular company features strengthening the location inertia of manufacturing), which are divided into three main groups - capital intensity, complexity of value chain and business sophistication. Keep-factors were examined on the company level and represented by six financial indicators. The sample covers 692 Czech manufacturing companies (foreign owned) with one hundred or more employees. The main goal is to identify branches of manucaturing threatened by delocalization. Manufacturing companies with low capital intensity, low value added/output ratio, high relative wages expenditures and no R&D activities are regarded as footloose - with high probability of potential relocation. The author examines, from the international political economy point of view, their differences and formulates three phases of internationalisation process. The author defines also the relation of these phenomena to the process of integration and regionalisation in the world economy and pays attention to frequently discussed topic of global governance as well. The author further examines the possibilities of measuring globalisation process intensity on both world wide and national economy levels. The article assigns a set of characteristic features or indicators making possible to define main limits of when a given national economy can be hold as being incorporated and in what rate into the globalisation process. This step of identification of globalisation intensity rate is very important, as starting point, when a strategy of adaptation to globalisation trends is needed to be formulated, evidently, closely with the competitiveness growth and catching-up strategy elaboration.
