Czech economy at the start of 1996
During 1995 the Czech Economy showed robust economic growth - faster than expected by most domestic and foreign forecasts. Inflation decreased further, reaching a one-digit figure for the first time since the start of the 1990s. Unemployment rate went down during 1995, while the number of employed slightly increased.
