CEMS Business Projects 2018 Final Presentations

17. 5. 2018 - On Thursday, 10 May 2018, students of the University of Economics, Prague had an opportunity to join a discussion with Commissioner Věra Jourová on The fake news phenomenon and data leaks from social networks. The central topic of the debate was the level of personal data protection and privacy and its current – rather neglected – perception in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, according to the Commissioner, responsibility is not laid solely on Member States but also "every individual who must take care of its privacy and must approach dissemination of his or her own data responsibly." More

Summer schools at VŠE

14. 5. 2018 - This summer the International Office of the University of Economics, Prague, organises two summer schools. Another summer school is organised within the CESP programme and two summer schools for international students led by the Faculty of International Relations also take place this summer at VŠE. University celebrated 20 Years of CEMS at VŠE

25. 4. 2018 - On Thursday, April 19, 2018, a celebration of „20 Years of CEMS at VŠE“ took place on the premises of the University of Economics, Prague. The official program started in the early afternoon with various sessions dedicated to Corporate Partners, Alumni, current students, as well as the prospective ones. Moreover, a CEMS stand where CEMS students answered questions and provided information to the prospective students was available during the whole day in the Rajská Building Atrium. More

Prof. Ivan Nový re-elected as the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration

Rector’s Sports Day 2018

This day, filled with sports activities for both students and employees of the University of Economics, Prague, has been organized by the Center for Sports and Physical Education. The Faculty of Economics has elected a new Dean

Master in Official Statistics (MOS)

A big success for FIR – EPAS accreditation for two programmes for 5 years

21. 2. 2018 - Faculty of International Relations (FIR) successfully defended international accreditation EPAS for two master’s degree programmes, International Trade and International Business, this time for the period of 5 years. This exceptional success invites FIR into the elite club of only eight universities worldwide, which have gained the longest possible period of accreditation for more than one programme. Accreditation itself means for the faculty not only appreciation of its successes and the confirmation of wise strategic and managerial decisions in key areas of development, but it is also an important commitment and challenge for the enduring perfection of the established direction.
