From Odesa to Prague: University Cooperation in Practice

Representatives of the VSE International Office and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, professor Hana Machková, met with ten students from the Odesa National Economic University, who are studying at VSE during this fall semester. They are part of a group totalling almost 500 Exchange students and 700 new students of the English taught programmes. The meeting provided opportunity to welcome the students personally, express our support to the students and the university and to listen to their experiences so far studying and living in Prague.

Collaboration Creates Tangible Opportunities

The students´stay demonstrates another result of the prospering and developing cooperation between the universities. The mobilities that were carried out confirm that the cooperation does not stop at the institutional level between VSE and Odesa National Economic University, but brings opportunities to both students and employees. The admission of the students from Odesa simultaneously continues VSE´s long standing support of Ukrainian students and its academic community, which has been active since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We wish the students a rewarding and interesting semester at VSE, and much success in their future academic life.
