I have completed my doctoral studies

Completing a doctoral degree is an exceptional achievement – congratulations! By earning the Ph.D. title, you have successfully completed one of the most demanding stages of study at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE).

Access to Microsoft 365 and InSIS

We would like to inform you that as of the date your studies are completed, a protection period for your university account begins and will end after 180 days. After this period, your Microsoft 365 license will be terminated and you will lose access to your Outlook email account. Please make sure to download all important data from your OneDrive online storage, as well as the contents of your mailbox, within this time frame.

You will still be able to log in to Personal Administration in InSIS using your username. After the protection period expires, emails older than one month will no longer be stored in your InSIS mailbox. Instructions on how to back up your data can be found here.

If you also worked as a lecturer during your studies (with an employment contract), completion of your doctoral studies does not automatically mean the termination of all your university roles. Access to selected systems and your role as an employee may continue.

Identification card and Wi-Fi

Immediately after completion of your studies, your identification card will be blocked. You will no longer be able to access university buildings or use services connected to the card system. At the same time, access to the eduroam and VPN university networks will expire.

If you continue to work at VŠE, for example as an employee, you will receive a new card and system access according to your new role. Otherwise, these services will no longer be available to you.

Stay part of the VŠE community

  • Follow the activities of the Alumni Centre, which organizes a wide range of events and alumni gatherings.

  • Register on the VŠE Alumni Portal – a communication and networking platform where you can stay in touch with your classmates.

  • Follow VŠE on LinkedIn and Instagram, where we share the achievements of our alma mater, students, and alumni.

Even after completing your studies, the doors of VŠE remain open. You can get involved as a guest during Innovation Week, Alumni Wednesdays, collaborate with the university as an expert, or contribute to its activities in other ways.
