VŠE succeeds in the international QS World University Rankings 2027

The Prague University of Economics and Business was included for the first time in the prestigious international QS World University Rankings 2027. This year, a total of 8,808 universities from 106 countries worldwide were evaluated, and the results were published for the 1,504 highest-ranked higher education institutions.

VŠE’s inclusion in this global ranking represents an important step in strengthening its international standing. The university’s evaluation was supported in particular by improvements in the criteria Employer Reputation and Employment Outcomes, which assess the university’s reputation among employers and the success of its graduates in the labour market.

In the QS World University Rankings 2027, VŠE was ranked 1001-1200 globally and 9th among the 16 evaluated Czech higher education institutions.

VŠE achieved its best global rankings in the following criteria:

International Students – 261st place
Employer Reputation – 410th place
Employment Outcomes – 440th place

VŠE also performed very well in comparison with other Czech higher education institutions. It ranked 3rd in Employment Outcomes, 4th in Employer Reputation, and 5th in International Students.

The results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2027 will be published in March 2027. In the 2026 edition of this ranking, VŠE was ranked 251-300 globally in the subject areas of Accounting & Finance and Business & Management Studies, and 301-350 globally in Economics & Econometrics.

VŠE’s inclusion in the QS World University Rankings confirms the university’s growing international visibility, the quality of its education, and the strong position of its graduates in the labour market.
