Campus and Classrooms

Study in an environment that seamlessly integrates learning and student life

VŠE offers study facilities at three locations—in Žižkov, Jižní Město, and Jindřichův Hradec. Each has its own unique character, but together they form a cohesive whole that supports academic pursuits, collaboration, and everyday student life.

Žižkov: the heart of the university

The main campus in Žižkov is the heart of VŠE. Most classes take place here, and you’ll also find libraries, study zones, facilities for student clubs, and spaces for informal gatherings.
The campus development also includes new spaces for collaboration and project work, such as coworking zones that connect students across disciplines.

Flexible Classrooms

Modern classrooms allow the space to be adapted to various teaching methods—from traditional lectures to discussions and group work.

Thanks to their flexible layout, they support:

  • active student participation
  • group work
  • interactive teaching
  • Computer labs and analytical tools

The facilities include specialized computer labs that enable work with data, statistical methods, and analytical software.

These spaces are particularly crucial for teaching economics, finance, computer science, and data analysis.

Spaces for Teamwork

In addition to traditional classrooms, students have access to spaces for individual and group work that foster collaboration and the development of practical skills.

These spaces facilitate:

  • project work
  • preparation of presentations
  • informal study

The Campus as a Place to Live

The VŠE campus is more than just a place for learning. Students have access to:

  • libraries and study areas
  • cafeterias and cafés
  • sports facilities
  • more than 40 student clubs
  • spaces for teamwork and relaxation

Dormitories and Housing

Student housing is provided by the VŠE Facilities Management Department, which operates dormitories in Prague (Jarov, Jižní Město) and offers other services.
