Alumni Wednesdays at VŠE

The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) is launching a new project for graduates called Alumni Wednesdays. All faculties of VŠE located in Prague will take part in this project and they will offer a series of professional lectures on interesting topics. The lectures will always be held on Wednesdays from 18:00-19:30. The lectures are free. Interested graduates can register on the website of the Development and Counselling Centre of VŠE. 

The Alumni Wednesdays start on November 5th. The first lecture will be held in Likešova auditorium in the New Building. The rector of VŠE, Prof. Hana Machková, will open the lecture series. The dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Ladislav Mejzlík, will give the first lecture of the series.

The Development and Counselling Centre of the University of Economics, Prague also organizes many other events for alumni. One of them is the “Day with VŠE” which will be held on Saturday, 16th May 2015. On this occasion, VŠE graduates can meet each other at the university in an informal atmosphere. The other event, the career fair “Chance”, takes place twice a year, and it helps alumni find employment among many companies and institutions. At VŠE, there is also an Alumni Club and its members keep in touch with the university; they are also regularly invited to social events such as the Ball of VŠE. This year, the Ball of VŠE takes place in Lucerna Palace on the 3rd of December.
