Summer Schools at VŠE

This summer, International Office of the University of Economics, Prague, organizes three summer schools. 

The first one is a four-week program (mid-May to mid- June) for 42 bachelor degree students from Arizona State University. This program has been organized for ten years now and its main focus is International Business. Program includes lectures by VŠE lecturers from the Faculty of International Relations, and several field trips (Škoda Auto, a.s., Staropramen Brewery, Crystal Bohemia glass factory, etc.)

Second summer school (organized for the seventh time) is a four-week program (June 1st  – July 3rd) for McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin. It is focused on accounting and is taught by VŠE lecturers together with American professors accompanying their 35 students. In addition to the classes, field trips and lectures by business specialists are included.

The third summer school will be a program for Mexican partner university ITESM (this program was first organized last year).  In July, about 40 students will study a four-week program “Doing Business in Central and Eastern Europe”. Lectures will be done by VŠE lecturers and the program will also include several field trips to Czech companies.

In addition to this, the Faculty of International Relations organizes from 30 May to 27 June 2015 summer school with the title “Central European Business Realities”. This summer school represents an exclusive opportunity to combine English and Spanish languages and to spend nice time in Central Europe. More information here.
