Cooperation of MSD and VŠE during the academic year 2014 / 2015

The leading international pharmaceutical company MSD (Merck) is an important partner of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE). Prof. Hana Machková, the rector of VŠE and John Westby, the Associate Vice President of the Global Innovation Center signed an agreement on partnership a year ago. Since that time, many activities were realized together: MSD Tech Innovation Summit took place at VŠE, MSD sponsored Ceremony of Student Awards, Cooperation on Diploma Thesis etc.

MSD IT Global Innovation Center based in Prague is focused on developing and applying advanced capabilities in information sciences, information security, mobility, social media and big data. The center also cooperates on these activities with VŠE and others Czech universities.
