Centre of European Studies, University of Economics, in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland cordially invite you to a lecture by UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Baroness Lucy Neville-Rolfe called “Deepening of the EU Single Market: Benefits for business”.

Baroness Neville-Rolfe’s portfolio includes intellectual property, the digital agenda, and supporting UK business, including small and medium enterprises. In the past, she worked for the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1973-1992) and in the office of the Prime Minister (1992-1994). Between 1997 and 2013, she held various positions at Tesco, where she served as executive director for corporate and legal relations from 2006.

The discussion will take place on April 4 at 12:45 in the Likeš auditorium.

Following the discussion, Baroness Neville-Rolfe and Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek will launch a joint UK-Czech vision for online platforms, focusing on priorities in regulation and the role of platforms in deepening the European Digital Single Market.
