MIMG is a two-year English-taught Master´s Degree Programme available at the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the University of Economics, Prague.

The objective of MIMG is to inspire and to educate analytically and socially responsible minded business professionals with a broad economic overview and a focus on business management.

The study field is suitable for students with analytical thinking who are interested in the business environment, particularly for those with an emphasis on management and building companies of all sizes and legal forms of ownership, industry and business sectors. Graduates will be able to participate in the execution of economic and managerial functions at top management levels in companies and other institutions, where knowledge of business management is expected. They mostly start their careers at industrial enterprises, enterprises operating in the energy sector, transport and storage, trade and services or consulting firms.

MIMG Curriculum

Students at the beginning of their Master’s studies receive a total of 144 ECTS credit vouchers (24 in reserve). For the completion of Master´s degree, students have to collect a total of 120 ECTS.

The key areas of study represent Strategy, Management, Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Managerial-decision making and problem solving, Research methods, Human Resource management, Logistics services and others.

Within the minor specialization, student can choose from variety of courses, e.g. Consulting, Project management and Sales management.

Students also have the option to enrich their MIMG curriculum by spending one semester abroad within an international study exchange programme.

Applications for 2017/18

The application deadline for the academic year 2017/2018 is on June 10, 2017. Administration fee 50 EUR (or 1.390 CZK) has to be paid by the application deadline.

Admission requirements include Bachelor´s degree, proof of English proficiency and delivering an essay in English on a given topic reflecting knowledge and skills gathered during previous education in Business administration specialization (e.g. Strategic analysis, Marketing, Management, Logistics, HR or Entrepreneurship) in approximate length of 2500–3000 words. Part of the admission procedure is also a brief motivational interview not longer than 10-15 minutes. Both on-site interviews as well as Skype interviews will be held on June 19, 20 and 21.

Tuition fee

As in the case of most international programmes at University of Economics, the MIMG tuition fee is 1 800 EUR/semester.
