Workshop DYME 2017 will take place at VŠE

The Workshop DYME 2017, which will take place on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the University of Economics (VŠE) is the fifth meeting of members and associates of the joint project of excellence “Dynamic Models in Economics”.

The platform Dynamic Models in Economics – DYME is a Czech centre for advanced research in the intersection of mathematics and economics. The platform has been established in 2012 and is supported by the Czech Science Foundation Project. The associates of the project are the University of Economics, Prague, Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education, Charles University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University and Institute of Information Theory and Automation, Czech Academy of Sciences

All those interested in the topics of the project are invited. In the Workshop DYME 2014 the main lecture (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zms8SAjsbc) gave prof. M. Hashem Pesaran, who received the honorary degree of “Doctor Oeconomiae Honoris Causa” from the University of Economics, Prague (http://www.vse.cz/bulletin/1349).

The main lectures of the Workshop DYME 2017 will be given by Prof. Wolfgang Karl Härdle and Prof. Cathy Y. Chen from Humboldt University, Berlin. The regular lectures will be given by Jan Mareš from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Jakub Matějů from the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education, Charles University and Jaromír Baxa from the Institute of Information Theory and Automation, Czech Academy of Sciences.

The Workshop will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Room NB 169.
