International Advisory Board Meeting

The very first meeting of the International Advisory Board (IAB) of the University of Economics, Prague [VŠE] is set to take place on Monday, June 26, at the VŠE. The IAB is an advisory body which was established by the Rector of the VŠE. The IAB‘s main mission is to consult the strategy and development of the VŠE with foreign academics and top Czech managers.

The International Advisory Board consists of 11 members:

6 Deans/Vice-Deans or Emeritus Deans from CEMS Universities:

  • AALTO University Finland – Ingmar Bergman;
  • Corvinius Hungary – Zita Paprika;
  • ESADE Spain – Josep Franch;
  • HEC Paris France – François Collin;
  • UCL Belgium – Pierre Semal;
  • University of St. Gallen Switzerland – Thomas Bieger.

5 Top Managers:

  • Bel Group – Boyan Neytchev, Managing Director for Central Europe;
  • Czech National Bank – Marek Mora, Board Member;
  • Erste Bank – Gernot Mittendorffer, Board Member;
  • L´Oréal – Tomáš Hruška, Managing Director for CR, Slovakia, Hungary;
  • Pilsner Urquell – Marek Prach, Supply Chain Manager.

The following people are going to participate in the first meeting: I. Bergmann, Z. Paprika, T. Bieger, B. Neytchev, M. Mora, T. Hruška and M. Prach. The Universtity of Economics, Prague is represented by: H. Machková, J. Fischer, J. Hnilica and P. Musílek.
