At the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), the Week for Education will be symbolically launched on Thursday, September 28th, at the student open-air festival VŠEFEST, which is held at the Jarov dormitories area. Subsequently, on Thursday, October 5th, the Day of Student Organizations will be held at the Atrium of the Rajská building, and on Friday, October 6th, the Academic Plenum, a gathering of the academic community, will take place from 11 am to 1 pm.

The Day of Student Organizations, held on Thursday, October 5th, from 10 am to 4 pm, will introduce student clubs operating at VŠE. The main objective is to provide potential candidates, particularly first-year students, with all the necessary information directly from the representatives of the respective organizations.

At present, more than 40 student organizations of all kinds operate at the University of Economics, Prague. There are clubs dealing with exchange stays and travel, improving speaking and other skills, or focusing on arts or sports.

The Day of Student Organizations is designed for those who want to further pursue their knowledge from the classroom as a student. Throughout the day, those interested in out-of-school activities will be introduced to the functioning and possibilities of voluntary student organizations. By attending the presentations of the clubs’ representatives, students can learn more about the programmes and focus of the various clubs.
