International & Study Abroad Fair 2017 took place at VŠE

On Wednesday November 29, 2017, the fourth International & Study Abroad Fair was organized by the International Office. Students had a chance to get more information about studying abroad at all the partner universities of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) as well as about the offer of the International Degree Programmes taught in English.

In the modern and spacious Atrium of Rajska Building, the students were provided with promotional materials and took to decorate their stands with the colors of their countries and the symbols of their home universities. At the stands, the visitors could meet exchange students from our partner universities and VŠE students who had already spent semester abroad. Students shared their valuable experience with students wishing to study abroad and gave them advice, tips and specific information about studying at a partner university and in a foreign country.

At the end of the day, the best stands were awarded based on their decorations, preparation and approach of the students. Finnish, Danish, Argentine, Taiwanese, Russian and Portuguese stands were nominated as the best stands thanks to their active and creative participants.

All day long a stand of the International Office was available, where members of the International Office’s team answered the questions concerning the opportunities to study abroad and selection procedure for exchange mobility. Students could also collect info materials about exchange opportunities and promotional materials about partner universities of VŠE.

Traditionally the International Office organized the Photo Contest 2017. The best 77 photographs taken by 58 VŠE students from their study or internship abroad were exposed in the Atrium of the Paradise Building during the photo exhibition from November 20, till December 1, 2017.
