Come to study to Central Europe

The University of Economics in Prague offers a study program (CESP) which provides studies in the economies, societies, and cultures of Central and Eastern European countries and gives you an opportunity to reside and experience the dynamic and exciting condition in Central Europe. The application deadline is June 15, 2008.

The CESP program offers the following courses (3 credits each course or 7 ECTS credits):

  • Globalization – Its Social and Economic Aspects
  • Environmental Economics and Management
  • Theory and Practice of Economic Transition
  • Comparative Government of Central and Eastern Europe
  • Philosophy in Central Europe
  • International Finance
  • Managerial Systems in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Global Business and International Trade
  • International Relations
  • Business Negotiation in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Elementary Czech
  • Marketing in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Cultural History of the Czech Lands
  • International Marketing Communications
  • European Integration

Admission Requirements:

  • at least one year (2 semesters) finished at home university
  • at least a 2.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 or an equivalent good standing at the home university
  • a sufficient English language knowledge
  • the tuition fee 2700 EUR

FALL Semester 2008 in Dates:

  • Beginning: September 15, 2008
  • End: December 19, 2008
  • Application deadline: June 15, 2008
