Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Erasmus Program

On 23rd and 24th April 2007 the “Days of Partner Universities” will be held at the University of Economics, Prague. This action is organized by the Department of International Studies and the Buddy System student organization for the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Program.

During these days there will be an exhibition of photos taken by students during their studies abroad; it will be exhibited in the hall of the Rajska Building. The exhibition is connected with a competition. There will also be informational stands provided by the Department of International Studies, the Erasmus Program and the Buddy System student organization.

This event will be accompanied by a presentation of the school’s university partners; it will take place in room RB 109. Foreign students who study at the University of Economics for an exchange program will present their own universities at this time.

The two-day event will be concluded on 24th April at 4 p.m., with an announcement of the results of the photography competition.

The celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Program and the “Days of Partner Universities” aren’t dedicated only to students who are thinking about studying abroad, but to all students as well as teachers, who are interested in international cooperation of the University of Economics, Prague.

This event will be followed by the AIESEC organization’s “Global Village” project, which will be held on 25th April from noon to 4 p.m. in the hall of the Rajska Building. Foreign students will present the culture and cuisine of their own countries. Visitors will find twenty different stalls there.
