The French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG), with support of the French embassy in Prague, presents for the 21st time, its post-graduate MBA-type managerial program – Master Management et Administration des Entreprises.

In the past year, the French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG) celebrated its 20th anniversary. Its main project is preparation of Francophone managers. The program is focused particularly on graduates of non-managerial university study programs who wish to increase their qualification and work in management positions. According to French legislature, it is possible to admit to the program applicants with a “bac + 4” level.

The content of study is focused on a broad spectrum of managerial disciplines: analysis of entrepreneurial environment, business and labor law, quantitative methods in management, strategic and operative marketing, human resource management, accounting, financial management, production management, strategic management, and information systems and project management. The professional training will have the form of 10 one-week long intensive modules taught between June 2011 and January 2012. After finishing the theoretical part of the course, students are obliged to undertake at least a three-month internship in a firm in the Czech Republic or abroad, and in September 2012 defend their final thesis in French.

Teaching is evenly distributed between teachers from the University of Economics, Prague and French professors. The program includes also presentations from representatives of French companies (Komerční banka, L‘Oréal and Euro RSCG). Komerční banka and L’Oréal are also historically the largest employers of IFTG graduates.
