Prague Economic Papers received its first Journal Impact Factor

On June 28, 2011, Thomson Reuters announced the release of the 2010 Journal Citation Reports®. Prague Economic Papers, the scientific journal published by the University of Economics Prague, received its first Journal Impact Factor of value 0,390.

Every year Thomson Reuters selects and on the basis of the published citations evaluates the most important and influential International and Regional journals for coverage in Thomson Reuters Web of KnowledgeSM platform. The results are published the following year, usually by the end of June, in the Journal Citation Reports® which is the world’s most influential source of values of the most important scientometric indicators: the numbers of citations and the values of the Journal Impact Factors.

This year, Prague Economic Papers – the scientific journal published by the University of Economics, Prague – received the Journal Impact Factor for the first time, its value is 0,390. Prague Economic Papers is a quarterly dealing with economic theory, modelling and analyses, problems of economic and social development of the Czech Republic and other economies. It presents information about scientific life and new relevant economic literature. The aim of Prague Economic Papers is to publish high-quality papers and analytical studies that will be interesting to both theoretically and practically specialized readers. It has been published by the University of Economics, Prague since 1992. Prague Economic Papers is indexed in Thomson Reuters products: Social Sciences Citation Index, Social Scisearch and Journal Citation Report/Social Sciences Edition and in Elsevier’s A&I database Scopus. It is included in EconLit and RePEc/EconPapers databases.
