University of Economics, Prague hosts EAIE Joint Leadership Meeting
From February 11th – 14th 2014, the University of Economics, Prague is hosting the EAIE Joint Leadership Meeting. This key event is held each year in the host city of the EAIE Conference and gives the host an excellent opportunity to showcase its institution to over 80 leaders in the field of higher education from around the world.
The Joint Leadership Meeting (JLM) brings together the Association’s entire Leadership for 3-4 days of strategic discussions about the Association and its core activities. The meeting also gives the Leadership a chance to acquaint itself with the city prior to the conference and to meet key representatives in the higher education sector. The Leadership comprises 80-90 representatives including the EAIE Presidency, EAIE Board, EAIE General Council, the EAIE Committees and all active Board members from the various EAIE Expert Communities.
The EAIE is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. It is a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions. Currently the largest international higher education conference in Europe and the second largest in the world, draws more than 4500 professionals from over 85 countries to the annual conference. Through 130+ cutting-edge sessions, 30+ in-depth workshops, an impressive exhibition of 350 institutions, the conference gives participants the opportunity to enhance their expertise, explore current trends in higher education, and establish partnerships with institutions from around the world.
The 26th Annual EAIE Conference will take place in Prague, 16-19 September 2014.
