Lecture by Professor M. Hashem Pesaran “Debt, Inflation and Growth”

One of the leading economists in the world, Professor M. Hashem Pesaran, will have a lecture at the University of Economics, Prague on 2 June 2014. The lecture “Debt, Inflation and Growth“ is organized by the Dynamic Models in Economics Research Center (DYME) and will take place in RB 213 at 10 a.m.

Professor M. Hashem Pesaran

Profesor M. Hashem Pesaran is leading world expert of applied econometrics, quantitative analysis of financial markets, macroeconometric modeling, econometric analysis of time series and panel data, he expresses his views on global economic problems and energy issues. M. H. Pesaran is the John Elliot Chair in Economics and Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California, where he is also the Director of USC Dornsife Centre for Applied Financial Economics. He is Emeritus Professor of Economics at University of Cambridge. His work has been published in 175 papers in the world leading journals and in 13 books. According to the Web of Science his work reached more than 7000 citations. The Agency Thomson Reuters classified Prof. Pesaran currently among the leading economists in the world.
