Alumni Meeting at UEP
On November, 24 2007 the University of Economics, Prague will host an alumni meeting with a broad social and professional programme.

The main aim of this event is to provide the opportunity for an informal meeting on the school premises, but also to support networking among its alumni. For this year’s “A Day with UEP”, which will be held on Saturday November, 24, 2007 from 2 p.m., a broad social and professional programme has being prepared.
On the programme of this event there will be a performance of cultural clubs active at UEP – including the mixed choir “Musica Oeconomica Pragensis” together with the UEP Chamber Orchestra. The cultural programme will continue with a performance of the amateur theatricals “S bojkou v zádech“. The dance-folklore group “Gaudeamus” will sing and dance. A vernissage of paintings by Jan Antonín Pacák has been prepared along with a concert by one of the UEP’s alumni Ivan Mládek . The highlight of the programme will be a show by imitator Vladimír Hron.
However, there isn’t only entertainment on the programme. There will also be attention focused on the professional programme of faculties, where within the discussion framework, academics and professionals can discuss current topic.
The participants will have an opportunity to look over the premises of the university faculties, including the library, computer study rooms and the new Sport Centre. It will also be possible to visit the university bookstore with economic literature where an informational brochure and UEP advertising materials will be available.
