Ing. Ladislav Tyll, MBA, Ph.D. appointed as a new academic director of the CEMS Programme

On July 1st 2014, with immediate effect, Ing. Ladislav Tyll, MBA, Ph.D. was appointed as a new academic director of the CEMS – The Global Alliance in Management Education. This position was previously held by Doc. Ing. Jiří Hnilica, Ph.D., who as a new member of VŠE top management currently serves as a Vice-Rector for International Relations and Information Systems.

Ing. Ladislav Tyll, MBA, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the Department of Business Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics, Prague. Ing. Tyll professionally specializes in corporate strategies and internationalization of business activities such as outsourcing and offshoring. Ing. Tyll is concurrently the academic director of foreign-language bachelor’s programs Corporate Finance and Management taught in English and Russian language (CFM and EPM) at the Faculty of Business Administration.

CEMS – The Global Alliance in Management Education is a strategic alliance offering a comprehensive education in management and business. CEMS consist of 29 Academic Members (1 university for each country is allowed) and 70+ Corporate Partners (usually leading and multinational companies). Its mission is to inspire and develop future generations of international business leaders. The University of Economics, Prague became an official partner of CEMS in the year 1998. The main project of the CEMS Alliance is the Master´s Programme in International Management, a full-time two-year academic training program for students at bachelor level with interests and career intentions in international companies and international environment.
