2014

The CUPESSE international research project is dedicated to the comparative analysis of youth unemployment in Europe. The researchers of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), University of Economics, Prague (VSE) such as Assoc. Prof. Martin Lukeš, Vice- Dean for Science and Research take part in the project. By taking issues related both to the demand and supply sides into consideration, the project aims to obtain a comprehensive picture of the causes and consequences of unemployment among young people as well as to formulate policy strategies and recommendations for addressing this ever-growing issue. The project brings together a broad network of researchers and practitioners from the fields of economics, political science, psychology, and sociology.

The CUPESSE e-newsletter will be published every six months and will provide information on project progress, publications, events and latest news to specific target groups. The first newsletter includes an overview of the initial project phase and first developments within CUPESSE. It provides an outline of consortium meetings (past and upcoming) and gives an overview of the events at which CUPESSE members will be participating in an effort to promote the project and to involve a broad community of stakeholders. Furthermore, the newsletter includes profiles of consortium members and an advisor. The next newsletter will be published in January 2015.
