FIR students‘ success in BRANDSTORM competition by L´Oréal
The regional finale of student competition L´Oréal Brandstorm 2019 took place in April in Bratislava. This year’s edition of the competition was mainly focused on technology innovations (online, offline, digital, connected technologies) that would bring a massive breakthrough and head the future of skin care towards customers taking care of their health.
Student teams from the Czech Republic and Hungary participated in the regional finale. Eight three-membered student teams from the minor specialization 2KK – Commercial communications took part in the competition and three of them reached the regional finale.
Moreover, a student team consisting of three bachelor’s degree students of International Trade programme Nikola Lomenčíková, Emma Katarína Halušková a Julie Janáková participated in the competition and took the second place. The first place was won by a Hungarian team that automatically passes to the last round – the world finale that will be held in Paris.
The students from the Faculty of International Relations (FIR) can truly take pride in their second place, especially taking into account the fact that Brandstorm participants were mostly presented by students of master’s degree programs.
