I am a Bachelor’s graduate and I am continuing to a follow-up Master’s programme
Dear Bachelor’s graduates,
We are delighted to congratulate you on successfully completing your Bachelor’s studies at our university! This important milestone in your academic career is a testament to your hard work and dedication, and we are proud that you are part of our academic community.
Have you applied to a Master’s programme at VŠE? We wish you every success in the admissions process and in your follow-up studies.
Until you are officially enrolled, certain restrictions will apply. Your student ID card will be temporarily deactivated and a 180-day protection period for your university account will begin. From the perspective of the Higher Education Act, you are no longer considered a student during this time. Until you are enrolled in the follow-up Master’s programme, you will not have active access to computer labs, VPN or eduroam, and you cannot be assigned to teaching. After successful enrolment, your full student status and access to university systems will be reactivated.
During the 180-day protection period, however, an exception applies with regard to social security and health insurance – if you are currently not employed and are under 26 years of age, you do not have to pay these contributions.
In September, VŠE organises orientation courses for new Master’s students. Don’t forget to register.
