Study Master’s programme in International and Diplomatic Studies. Application deadline is April 30, 2020

The University of Economics, Prague offers 8 international Master’s study programmes. We introduce all of them on the website during January and February. The Open House Day of Master’s programmes taught in English will be held in Rajská Building/Rajská budova (RB 211) on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 6 pm.

The Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague offers a Master’s programmes in International and Diplomatic Studies (IDS) taught in English.
The IDS courses are focused on international relations, economics, international and diplomatic law, international and political theory, diplomatic practice, etc.


Great advantage of the program is a possibility to spend one semester abroad at a partner university. Students do not pay extra on top of their regular tuition fee for this semester. Students also receive partial financial assistance for living expenses while at a partner university.

According to IDS alumni, there are various reasons to study the program:

  • Ljuba from Italy: “The IDS programme is an excellent experience. It offers interesting courses taught by qualified teachers. The administrative staff is always available, and the facilities are very well equipped. Last but not least, it is located in a great city, very easy to live in.

Admission procedure

With regards to the IDS admission procedure, the program is designed for students from all over the world who have completed their bachelor’s education.
The application deadline for the 2020/2021 academic year is April 30, 2020. Applicants complete a long-distance admission exam on a given international relations issue. The tuition fee is 3 800 EUR per academic year.
