The Luftio project became best startup of VŠE

In the Startup VŠE competition, student teams competed for a scholarship of 40,000 CZK to support innovative entrepreneurship. Six teams from all over the University were selected from the entries for the finals, which took place on May 11, 2021. The Luftio project, which offers customers air quality measurement equipment, was awarded the VŠE Startup title. During the finale, the teams completed a seven-minute online presentation in the “startup pitch” format and a subsequent discussion with the jury. The five-member jury included representatives of the investor community and academic members. They were interested in the size of the problem that the startup solves, the team’s ability to bring the product to market and the potential for dynamic development of the company.

The Luftio project won the VŠE Startup title. Luftio offers customers equipment for measuring air quality. It analyzes the obtained data and displays the results in a mobile application. The Luftio start-up was presented by Josef Tatíček, a Faculty of Business Administration student, together with his colleague Jana Vítová.
