Rector of VŠE awarded the best teachers of 2023

On Tuesday 5 March, the Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), Petr Dvořák, met with the best teachers from the VŠE and appreciated their excellent work.

For the evaluation of the Teacher of the Year, the data obtained from student evaluations were used, which focused on the quality of the teacher – his/her qualifications, expertise, readiness for lectures or exercises, clarity of explanation, ability to explain the material, as well as interest and ability to answer and solve students’ questions or problems.

Compared to last year, when more emphasis was placed on evaluations from the students of the faculty in which the educator works, this year the evaluation of all students across all faculties was taken into account.

The award was not just for the Teacher of the Year, but the top three teachers from each faculty were selected. Each Teacher of the Year received an additional special award. Congratulations to all the award winners!
