Master's in International and Diplomatic Studies
3. 2. 2012 - 30th of April is an application deadline for a new academic year of International and Diplomatic Studies Program. IDS is an English sister of a Czech program offered by the Jan Masaryk Centre for International Studies at the Faculty of International Relations. Jan Masaryk Centre is APSIA Affiliate Member and also a member of the International Forum on Diplomatic Training (IFDT). IDS is a two-year (four-semester) full-time master’s program fully taught in English. It has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport of the Czech Republic. Graduates are entitled to use the title Ing. according to Czech legislation. More

8. 12. 2011 - In December, the Financial Times published its results of the ranking of European business universities. This year, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) achieved 70th position among the most prestigious schools. This is three places better than last year. French Week at VŠE
7. 9. 2011 - During one week there has been an intensive course for Paris Sorbonne University students at the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), more than 1 000 teachers of French language have met at the European Congress and IFTG graduates meet at the French embassy in the Czech Republic. New Director of Development and Counselling Centre
1. 9. 2011 - With the effect from September 1, 2011, the new director of Development and Counselling Centre, Jiří Knap, has been appointed to his function by the President of VŠE, prof. Richard Hindls.

Erste Group Summer University in Prague
3. 8. 2011 - From July 23 till July 27, 2011, the University of Economics, Prague had the honor to host the Erste Group Summer University Danubia 2011. It is a summer university organized by eight partner schools (University of Economics, Prague; Economic University in Bratislava; Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest; University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics; Graduate School of Economics and Business, Zagreb; Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, Kiew; Corvinus University Budapest and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), together with different branches of the Erste Bank Group.
