3. 2. 2012 - 30th of April is an application deadline for a new academic year of International and Diplomatic Studies Program. IDS is an English sister of a Czech program offered by the Jan Masaryk Centre for International Studies at the Faculty of International Relations. Jan Masaryk Centre is APSIA Affiliate Member and also a member of the International Forum on Diplomatic Training (IFDT). IDS is a two-year (four-semester) full-time master’s program fully taught in English. It has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport of the Czech Republic. Graduates are entitled to use the title Ing. according to Czech legislation. More

2. 1. 2012 - The VSE Master´s Program International Business – Central European Business Realities has been ranked by the agency EDUNIVERSAL in 2011 as the first program in international management in the region of Eastern Europe. More

13. 12. 2011 - In the 2010/2011 academic year, VŠE achieved excellent results. In the regular evaluation of the quality of implementation of the CEMS program, VŠE scored among the six best schools. The university “CEMS Club” also won 1^st prize and got a financial award for its activities. More

8. 12. 2011 - In December, the Financial Times published its results of the ranking of European business universities. This year, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) achieved 70th position among the most prestigious schools. This is three places better than last year. In the area of student exchange and international cooperation, VŠE works with the 29 best European schools. More

3. 12. 2011 - CEMS Annual Events represent one of the most important events of CEMS alliance of which the University of Economics, Prague has been an active member for more than 12 years. CEMS is a strategic alliance of 26 leading business schools and more than 60 multinational companies with a mission to set a global standard of excellence for pre-experience Master’s in Management. The mission has resulted in very high Financial Times rankings of the Master´s programme CEMS alliance delivers. More

13. 11. 2011 - Central and East European Studies Program is a one- or two-semester program held in English focusing on issues of Central and East European economies, societies and cultures. The registration deadline for the Spring Semester is December 1. More

4. 11. 2011 - The 1st Annual Conference on European Studies offers an opportunity for young researchers and PhD students to present their research and exchange ideas. More

14. 10. 2011 - The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) was awarded as the best business school in Central and Eastern Europe for the fourth year in a row. In the Eduniversal ranking, the university received the highest number of palms – five – which symbolizes the development of its internationalization. More

10. 10. 2011 - The Job Fair will take place on November 18th and 19th, 2011 in the Rajská building‘s atrium. More than 40 companies are registered to meet talented students and alumni of the University of Economics, Prague. More

19. 9. 2011 - Today’s global result sees the CEMS Master’s in International Management first in the 3-year ranking and improved performances in 8 categories. More

16. 9. 2011 - An intensive CEMS block seminar took place at the University of Economics, Prague from 5th to 9th September. This seminar is a part of CEMS MIM study program, which is traditionally amongst the highest rated programs in the Financial Times ranking. More

7. 9. 2011 - During one week there has been an intensive course for Paris Sorbonne University students at the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE), more than 1 000 teachers of French language have met at the European Congress and IFTG graduates meet at the French embassy in the Czech Republic. More

1. 9. 2011 - With the effect from September 1, 2011, the new director of Development and Counselling Centre, Jiří Knap, has been appointed to his function by the President of VŠE, prof. Richard Hindls. The main goal of the Center is to develop cooperation with business and to promote job offers among students and alumni. More

3. 8. 2011 - From July 23 till July 27, 2011, the University of Economics, Prague had the honor to host the Erste Group Summer University Danubia 2011. It is a summer university organized by eight partner schools (University of Economics, Prague; Economic University in Bratislava; Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest; University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics; Graduate School of Economics and Business, Zagreb; Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, Kiew; Corvinus University Budapest and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), together with different branches of the Erste Bank Group. 13. 7. 2011 - On June 28, 2011, Thomson Reuters announced the release of the 2010 Journal Citation Reports®. Prague Economic Papers, the scientific journal published by the University of Economics Prague, received its first Journal Impact Factor of value 0,390. More

9. 7. 2011 - In academic year 2010/2011, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) continued in strengthening its important position among universities both in the Czech Republic and internationally. Apart from education, science and research, the school hosted also number of social, cultural and sport events. More

14. 6. 2011 - Five summer schools and one seminar will take place at the University of Economics, Prague this summer. They are organized by the International Studies Centre, Central and East European Studies Program and L’Institut Franco-Tchèque de Gestion. More

31. 5. 2011 - Our university is not just a place to study but it is also a place for cultural events. The University of Economics, Prague – in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic – opened the OECD turns 50 exhibition in the atrium of the Paradise Building on 30 May 2011. More

19. 5. 2011 - From May 9 till May 13, 2011 the International Studies Centre of the University of Economics, Prague organized staff training for colleagues from partner universities. The event was held at VŠE for the first time. We welcomed 11 representatives, in total, from partner universities from Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Netherlands, Sweden and Norway. More

15. 5. 2011 - On Monday, 9 May 2011, the department of international trade and the French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG) organized a workshop for doctoral students and graduates of the MBA-MAE course. The main speaker was Professor Christian de Boissieu, the head of French PM François Fillon’s economic advisors. More
