The application deadline for the new Master’s program "Economic and Regional studies of Latin America" is January 18, 2011. The program is managed by CLAS, a research centre of the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration. The next semester of the program will begin in February 2011.
International Studies Centre together with students from ESN VŠE Praha – Buddy System organised the Days of Partner Universities in November 2010. 32 partner universities were presented during two days.
On 6 December 2010, the Financial Times published the results of the ranking of European business universities. For the first time, the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) figured into the rankings, in the 73rd position, among the most prestigious schools.
The Faculty of Business Administration has just opened the admission procedure to its flagship Master´s Programme in International Management. The applications will be accepted by 7 January 2011.

A public expert debate on the EURO will take place on 24 November 2010, at the Faculty of Economics and Public Administration. Among the discussants will be Mr. V. Klaus, the Vice-Governor of the Czech National Bank Mr. M. Hampl, the Slovak Minister of Finance Mr. I. Mikloš and the Dean Mr. M. Ševčík.
The University of Economics, Prague was awarded as the best business school in the Central and Eastern Europe for the third time. The university received five palms in the Eduniversal ranking, which symbolize the development of internationalisation.
Every month ESN International honors one of more than 300 ESN sections in the world as the "Section in the Spotlight" or section of the month. In October ESN VŠE Praha – Buddy System was announced the winner.
The number of foreign students studying at the University of Economics, Prague is growing every year. There are students from 52 countries of the world here during winter term 2010/2011.
