CEMS day at VŠE

1. 11. 2012 - On Wednesday, 7 November from 2 - 9:30 p.m. CEMS Day will take place in the Rajská Building. The main goal of the event is to inform about activities of one of the most prestigious networks of business schools. CEMS is a global alliance of 28 member schools, 71 corporate partners and four social partners. In 2012, the Financial Times ranked the CEMS MIM No. 3 in the world. More

The University of Economics, Prague was awarded the second best university in Central and Eastern Europe

18. 10. 2012 - The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) took the second best place in the annual international ranking of Eduniversal. In Central and Eastern Europe region, 81 universities in 21 countries were selected for the ranking. Only three universities - “Top 3 Business Schools” - in the region received the highest number of palms– five – symbolizing the development of their internationalization: University of Economics, Prague; Warsaw School of Economics and Saint Petersburg State University. More

Jitka Bartoničková – VŠE student and London 2012 Summer Olympics athlete

4. 10. 2012 - Jitka Bartoníčková is a student of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, University of Economics, Prague (VŠE). In addition, she is successful sports delegate of the Czech Republic. Together with her team-mates from the training group “Rychlý holky“, she took part in London 2012 Summer Olympics. The team finished seventh in the women´s 4x400 m relay final. A month earlier, the very same relay team won the bronze medal at the European Athletics Championships 2012 in Helsinki. More

Gathering of graduates of IFTG at the French Embassy

17. 9. 2012 - On the 7th September, a graduation ceremony of the 21st year of MBA program - Master Management et Administration des Entreprises - was held on the grounds of University of Economics in Prague. The graduation was attended by University Rector, Ambassador of the French Republic and the Dean of IAE Lyon. In the evening, a gathering of graduates from all years was held in Buquoy Palace. More

Erasmus Mundus ? Success of the EGEI Programme

21. 7. 2012 - EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency) published selection results of the 2012 Erasmus Mundus Programme Call for Proposals on July 20, 2012. The Agency has received 177 proposals under Action 1A - Erasmus Mundus Master Courses – out of which 30 were selected for funding. VŠE is the member of consortium led by the University of Antwerp. VŠE and IBM establish New Competence Centre: Students´ Opportunity in Smarter Commerce

Centre for Handicapped Students at VŠE Centre for Handicapped Students at VŠE

3. 6. 2012 - The University of Economics, Prague continues to improve access to study opportunities for a diverse group of students. The Centre for Handicapped Students at VŠE, in particular, works with those students with physical or learning disabilities in order to integrate them fully into the teaching programs; there are currently nearly 30 students working with the centre. Furthermore, all VŠE faculties cater to the specific needs of these students from the time of entrance exams, during their studies and through graduation ceremony as well. More
