29. 9. 2010 - The websites of the University of Economics were ranked amongst the best in the world in the „Ranking Web of World Business School“. The University of Economics is just four places behind Harvard Business School and right behind Danish CBS. More


International success of the Faculty of Business Administration in a Financial Times ranking

20. 9. 2010 - The Financial Times (FT) has evaluated master’s programs in management for the 6th time. The results were announced and published in the FT on the 20th September 2010. This year’s results were a great success for the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics. More


The University of Economics, Prague celebrated 20 years of cooperation with France

14. 9. 2010 - The French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG) has existed at the University of Economics since 1990. An international conference of francophone researchers, a graduation ceremony and meeting with former students took place as a part of the anniversary at the Embassy of French Republic. More


Erste Group Danubia Summer University 2010

14. 9. 2010 - Danubia is a summer university organized by the University of Economics in Vienna (WU). The whole program is connected to the main sponsor Erste Group not only via its name, but also by the countries involved in the program as well as where the whole marathon takes place - Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Ukraine. Five of these countries are selected every year, and the chosen students visit their capital cities. This year, Danubia travelled through Bucharest, Belgrade, Zagreb, Bratislava and Vienna. More


20 years of French-Czech cooperation

8. 9. 2010 - The French-Czech Institute of Management (IFTG) is celebrating 20 years of existence. An international conference of francophone researchers and meeting with graduates will take place as a part of the anniversary located on the university grounds and Embassy of French Republic. More


Academic Year 2009/2010 at VŠE

12. 7. 2010 - Academic year 2009/2010 brought a number of major events. Four faculties elected their Deans and the Academic Senate of VŠE (University of Economics, Prague) re-elected the President for a second term. Students can now use the sports facilities at Třebešín and a modern library in Jindřichův Hradec. More


Cooperation with Corporate Partners at VŠE

22. 6. 2010 - The University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) has various forms of cooperation with its corporate partners; these include, for example, the “Šance” (Chance) job fair, lectures and workshops by firms, provision of job offers, the presentation of firms at the university and the organization of practically oriented competitions for students. Firms also support the R&D and international activities of VŠE. More

Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS)

The 2nd European Day at VŠE: Europe more closely - far away from the theory and Lisbon treaty

26. 3. 2010 - Theoretical disputes about Europe do not lead anywhere - let's experience a practical Europe. The 2nd European Day at the University of Economics, Prague, is organized by Centre of European Studies, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Eurocenter Prague. The day offers interesting professional lectures and seminars as well as simulation games, practical workshops and cultural events. The European Day will be held 8 April 2010 at the University of Economics, Prague. All visitors are welcome free of charge. More


Master's Program International Business - Central European Business Realities

14. 3. 2010 - In the academic year 2010/2011, the University of Economics in Prague offers for the ninth consecutive year the two year Master's Program International Business - Central European Business Realities that is fully taught in English. Program enables students to graduate with a double degree diploma, i.e. with a diploma from the VŠE and a diploma from a German, French, Austrian or Swiss partner university. More


The ERASMUS program at VŠE

24. 2. 2010 - Erasmus is the EU's flagship education and training program enabling students to study abroad as well as supporting cooperation between higher education institutions across Europe. The final report of the NAEP system audit states that the realization of the ERASMUS program at VŠE is at a high level. VŠE also obtained a positive evaluation from the European Commission. More


Ranking Web of World Business School - Success of VŠE website

28. 1. 2010 - The "Ranking Web of World Bussiness Schools" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain. Results published in January 2010 confirm the web performance of the University of Economics, Prague. More


International and Diplomatic Studies - New Master's Program in English at the VŠE

14. 1. 2010 - International and Diplomatic Studies (IDS), a new two-year (four-semester) full-time master’s program taught in English at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) has been accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport of the Czech Republic.
